6 months ago |i got hold of them via chat and they said that the price isn’t final yet, so fingers crossed that it goes below £1000. What’s really shame is the price of new X100, really not keen to sell mine for £400, I’d rather keep it than sell it for less than £500, that camera is worth at least that.

6 months ago |It looks like that if you go to amazon.co.uk (AmazonUK) and pre-order the Fuji X100S, they should send it to you with three flashes, leather case, conversion lens, adapter, hood, filter and stereo microphone – because all that is listed as “Box Contains”.
Obviously an error which might mislead people into thinking that for the 1099 GBP they will get a camera and all of Fuji’s accessory line-up.
I’ve mailed AmazonUK to inform them of the error, but I doub there will be a reaction. Can one order all that and then sue them to deliver as promissed and not accept money back?

6 months ago |I purchased a black LE version just a couple of months ago. With latest FW update it is now a great camera. It is currently being sold for £699 at Amazon UK (£50 less than I paid for it and over £100 cheaper than my mate paid for his about 5 months ago), so these things do plummet quite drastically. I would wait 9 months before entertaining the X100s. It will no doubt drop to under £900 and possibly even around £800. It would have had several FW updates by then too. When it gets to around £600 I will buy it and keep the black LE version in cold storage for a time when it collector value increases. I might even get my money back on it by that time.
