Markus Rack: New portfolio work with the GFX & the GF 120mm f/4 Macro. Thanks to Natalia Soboleva for the make-up and to Elisa for being a flawless model. For the Geeks out there: You might fall in love with this camera for its high resolution but you will stay for its tonality. markusrack.com – shared here

Marven Payne: FUJIFILM MAKES PHOTOGRAPHY FUN AGAIN!

If you’re on the fence about buying the GFX and can afford it, let me dispel any reservations you might have, GET IT NOW!!!

I’ve shot with all of the best Medium Format cameras on the market today, and this is hands down the best I’ve EVER shot with. No it doesn’t have the huge sensor or the 100MP resolution of the P1 IQ3 or Hassy H6D, but it does have plenty of resolution and Dynamic Range for even the most demanding work. The only reason anyone would want for more is for meaningless pixel peeping bragging purposes.

For me personally, the only drawback is now I have to go back and relearn Adobe Lightroom as I haven’t really used it in years as I went straight from Aperture to Capture One Pro. No biggie, I should be caught up on it again within a week or less.

Where the GFX 50S particularly rivals all others is the fact that it’s fun and intuitive to shoot with. It’s lightweight, yet rugged construction means that you can just forget about the camera and concentrate on making excellent images. Whereas with other brands, I find myself constantly thinking about and/or pampering the camera.

I went out to shoot Tokyo Sky Tree Saturday night and was floored by the images I was getting when I returned home. I had only intended to be out for an hour or so, but this camera was so fun to shoot with, I ended up shooting for 6 hours even though it was freezing cold. Mind you, I’m not an Architectural / Landscape Photographer by any measure, but I certainly felt like one with this little beast in tow. And I sincerely hope Fujifilm is thinking about Wide Angle lenses for those that are.

In short, this camera is freakin’ AMAZING! And the images it produces are simply phenomenal!!! You won’t be disappointed. – shared here

Gary Tyson‎: ISO 12,800…I shot this yesterday in a dark alleyway….On my previous medium format I could not shoot above ISO 200 for acceptable results in this kind of light…game changer! This is just Astia/soft preset in camera calibration (direct onto the camera RAW in Lightroom, no other adjustments.  – shared here

Palle Schultz: This is my happy face from two angles. I love the way that Medium format contains som much color information. Even dark pics like this, doesn’t loose quality or detail. – That is why I look so exited. – shared here

First test of the GFX 50S with my beloved Chiara Jr ;-)

I had difficulties making her stand still, she doesn’t like the flash :) I also own a Leaf Credo 40 and I must admit that working with the GFX is much much easier :)

I did the dog picture only looking at the LCD and the focus point was a pleasure to move around…

As for the balls, I was on tripod on manual mode, and zooming all the way into the picture was a breeze ! Did I mention that the flipping LCD in portrait mode was fantastic ? :)

These pictures are jpegs, slightly processed in C1. I’m trying to install Lightroom and will do some tests in the next few days with it :)

I’m so happy with the GFX so far !!!!!
