Fraudulent FUJIFILM Color Negative Film Hits the Market

[写真]

Fujifilm has announced they have found fraudolent Fujifilm branded color negativ film on the Japanese market.

It has been found that “a 35mm film non-genuine product illegally using FUJIFILM logo” (see attached photo) packed with movie film (* 1) has been brought to a development handling shop in Japan . These are the fraudulent use of our logo, not the products we offer.

Please note that these products are packed with movie film inside the used 35mm patrone, and can not be developed with the normal color negative film development process (CN-16, C-41). If the photo shop develops, it may contaminate the developer and it may be necessary to change the solution and to clean the rack of the developing machine, which may lead to development failure of other customers’ films. In order to avoid these risks, the shop will refuse the development of non-genuine products.

We are not responsible for any problems caused by such non-regular films. In addition, we have already implemented this warning notice to developing film handling shops and processing facilities for general purpose films.

We look forward to your continued patronage of our products.

Example of “35mm film non-genuine product illegally using FUJIFILM logo” packed with movie film

Besides 250D in the attached photo, there may be different types such as 64D, 250T and 500T.
In this example, there is a display of “shooting” which means “movie” in Chinese. There is no description of “image” on our regular 35mm patrone type.

* 1 The Company’s cinematographic film has been shipped in March 2013. Even in the film processing film processing office, we do not accept the development of “35mm film non-genuine products illegally using FUJIFILM logo” .

Fujifilm X-Pro3, X-H2, X100V, Panasonic Full Frame Fiasco, XF33mm F1.0, GFX 100 – Breaking May FR-Rumors and Top 15 Articles

Top of the Posts

May was an extremely busy month, with 79 articles written in 31 days, the GFX100 live blogging and… my marriage (no, can’t buy any new gear for a while with what that cost ;).)

In May, FujiRumors has also delivered several breaking rumors about the following Fujifilm cameras:

  • Fujifilm X-Pro3
  • Fujifilm X-H2
  • Fujifilm X100V (or X200)

I consider all rumors 100% accurate.

It’s not our style to mislead and clickbait people with fake made up rumors, sadly a practice that is going strong these days. FR is well fueld with reliable rumors, we do not need to go down the desperate fake rumor road.

And I tell you more…

I now slow down a few days to recover, but then  I’ll be back with rumors, especially with one that might surprise you positively. You can dream now and I’ll tell you later, once I have green light from the source :).

Back to us, and to the very busy month of May.

So many things happened, that I thought to list the top 15 read articles for May down below, so you can catch up in case you missed them.

Fujifilm X-T3 coming in Silver and Black

this is just a mock up by Fujirumors – original image is a graphite X-T2

Fujifilm X-T3

Some of you guys asked me in the comments if the Fujifilm X-T3 will come in black only or also in silver version, hence for the same price of the classic black version.

Well, according to our sources, there will be also a silver version coming (not graphite).

That’s good news… gives to the camera an even more retro touch ;)

Fujifilm X-T3 Basically Same Look and Button Layout of Fujifilm X-T2

Fujifilm X-T3

I have been informed (thanks) that the Fujifilm X-T3 will have the same button layout of the Fujifilm X-T2. Also the form factor will remain the same, with just some minor changes. Hence, once it will be announced, you won’t really notice any difference over the X-T2.

For me this is a good news, since the X-T design is loved by many just as it is now. Fujifilm did create the X-H line appositely to have more design freedom and craft a more DSLR-like camera. But the X-T should mantain it’s current form factor.
