Fujifilm has officially released the new X mount roadmap.
No surprises, everything as rumored.
As we told you, there is no XF27mm F2.8 MK II in there. But that lens will definitely come along with the Fujifilm X-E4 in early 2021.

According to a last second rumor shared by a trusted source, Fujifilm will announce a new firmware for Fujifilm X-T3 very shortly during the Fujifilm X Summit.
The X Summit will start at 9AM New York time, and we will live stream the even here on FujiRumors.

FUJIFILM Corporation (President: Kenji Sukeno) plans to release free firmware update for the “FUJIFILM X-T3” (X-T3) on October 28, 2020.
The update will improve the autofocusing performance of the X-T3 to the same level as the “FUJIFILM X-T4” (X-T4). This firmware will boost the AF speed, the camera’s AF tracking performance and the Face / Eye AF. In addition, the size of the AF area can now be adjusted during video recording. The update will bring new life to the X-T3, adding greater speed to make a great camera even better.
The Fujifilm X summit in Omiya is about to start (October 15 at 9AM New York Time).

The US price is $ 999 for the “X-S10 Body”, $ 1399 for the “X-S10 XF18-55mm Kit”, $ 1499 for the “X-S10 XF16-80mm”, and $ 999 for the “XF10-24mmF4 R OIS WR”

I strangly keep getting this question constantly via email, and I thought it was already kind of answered when I said that the X-S10 is a mid-range camera that will cost $999.
But I am bombarded by questions, if it is weather sealed or not.
Guys, no it’s not. It’s a sub-1K APS-C camera with IBIS. You really can’t get it all in a sub 1K camera.
I don’t know, but I got the impression that some people expected a $999 camera to have IBIS, Dual SD-Card slot, weather sealing, 8K60p and what not.
But I think we should keep our expectations realistic. $999 means that you can’t have it all.

Well, according to our trusted sources, Fujifilm will add a new XF18mm f/1.4 weather resistant prime lens to the upcoming new X mount roadmap.
Now please read carefully!
As you know, a top Japanese Fujifilm manager said there will be 4 new Fujinon X mount lenses released within February/March 2021, and FujiRumors has shared them all for you already.
I confirm that the lenses listed above are indeed the 4 new lenses that the manager was talking about, and hence the ones that will be officially announced by February/March 2021.
And I also confirm what I just published today: a new XF18mm f/1.4 will be added to the next X mount roadmap.

I have received information that Fujifilm will include a never rumored lens on the next Fujinon X mount lens roadmap.
Now, as you know, I am a primary school teacher (and you can hear one of my students judging my (let’s say “original”) lessons here), and right now I am at a short lunch break before a quick meeting with colleagues. But it won’t take long and I’ll soon be at home and unveil the mystery.
I mean, I want to be 100% with you guys, when the rumor drops and the comment section explodes :).
