The Ultimate Fujifilm Film Simulation Guide :: Get Bleach Bypass & Co in C1 on Older Fuji Cameras :: & More – X-Trans/Film Sim. Roundup

X-Trans / Raw Converters / Film Simulations Roundup

These days I am catching up with all the content you guys shared me over the last few weeks and months, and I promised to share at some point.

So, after a big camera roundup and a big lens roundup, here is a X-Trans Raw Coversion film simulation roundup.

Why all this in such a short time?

Well, because soon Fujifilm will unleash a product-strom, with the announcement of:

And all this goodness will come on January 27.

Ahead of January 27 there will be lots of rumors, and after that, FujiRumors will cover everything you need to know about the new products.

So I am using this weekend of realitive quiteness to catch up. And I know there is still content you guys sent me that has not yet been shared. I have it all saved. And at some point I’ll share that one too.

I really do my best, but it’s a huge amount of content you send me and that I have to check out. And no matter how hard and how much I work, it’s not easy to keep up sometimes.

Down below you can check out today’s roundup.

Fujifilm X-H1 Firmware 2.10 vs 2.11 :: X-S10 or X-T4 :: Fujifilm X100V, Virtually Perfect :: and More :: X Camera Roundup

After an extremely busy rumor week, I thought that we might hold on for second, stop looking at the future, and just see what we already have.

Because the best camera of tomorrow, can’t take the pictures of today.

So we are going to cover some X-series Fujifilm cameras, including a comparison between the Fujifilm X-H1 firmware 2.10 vs the latest firmware 2.11.

A special section goes to the Fujifilm X100 line, mainly the Fujifilm X100V.

BREAKING: Fujifilm GFX100S with 3-Way Tilt Screen (and NOT a Fully Articulating Screen)

I don’t why, but this morning my inbox was bombarded by people asking me the same question: will the Fujifilm GFX100S really have a fully articulating screen?

So let me adress this now: No, it won’t!

The Fujifilm GFX100S will have a 3-way tilt screen like the one on the Fujifilm X-T3.

Some Vloggers will still complaint in their first looks on January 27 that they can’t shoot medium format handheld selfie videos, but I guess most of the other medium format shooters will be just fine with this solution ;).

Nitecore FX3 Dual Battery Fast Charger for Fujifilm X-T4

As the Fujifilm X-T4 comes without a charger, the first investment I did along with my X-T4, was to get the Fujifilm BC-W235 Dual Battery Charger.

Since a few weeks now, also Nitecore offers it’s own dual charger for Fujifilm X-T4 batteries, the Nitecore FX3 dual battery charger for Fujifilm X-T4. It costs you about half the price of the original charger.

As of now you can get it in various combinations:

The Nitecore FX1 dual charger for NP-W262S batteries was one of the top 5 sellers on FujiRumors in 2018.

It will soon be available also at other stores:

But as said, it’s not the only option out there. There is for example:

Fujifilm 2021: Is This Really All? Or How Much New Gear We Could Get in 2021 Looking at Fujifilm’s Past Camera & Lens Releases

Fujifilm 2021 – Is This Really All?

Every week I get many emails from fellow FR-readers, asking me if this is really all.

They look at the current X mount roadmap and the latest G mount roadmap, and they see only 3 lenses in total. That’s meager.

Then they look at our rumors, see that we rumored only two cameras, the Fujifilm GFX100S and the Fujifilm X-E4 and wonder if that’s all for 2021.

I diligently reply to all of them, but it has become quite time consuming. So let me address this question one final time here on FujiRumors, so that in future I can just copy and paste the link to this article and send it to those, who inevitably will make me the same question again.

How Many Cameras Could we Get?

2020 Gear of the Year

It’s that time of the year, when blogs and youtube channels declare their best gear of the year.

We have already shared what DPReviewTV thinks is best here and what DPReview blog thinks is best.

Now it’s time for a roundup what all others consider their top and flop gear 2020.

The Fujifilm X-T4 is the best camera 2020 winner for CineD, Techradar, ePhotozine and also according to the German Stiftung Warentest, which is the go-to source for independent and competent reviews in Germany.

One prominent exception: Tony Northrup says the X-T4 the biggest disappointment of 2020. Why? You’ll find his video below. He might not like the X-T4, but he appreciates the X-S10, which Tony delcars the best camera below $1,000.

The Fujinon XF 50mm f/1.0 R WR is second best for Techradar and BH Explora.

Wildlife Photography with Fujifilm Gear

Wildlife with Fujifilm gear

guest post by Michal Krause – website@mkrause InstagramFacebook

Some time ago, I read with interest the article in which photographers discussed what gear they miss for photographing wildlife in existing Fujifilm offer. They mostly mentioned various lenses of different focal lengths and apertures, which could give some people the impression that it is almost not possible to photograph wildlife with the Fujifilm X system. Therefore, I decided to summarize my almost five years of experience in this field. I hope to inspire and encourage some photographers who consider getting into wildlife photography with Fujifilm gear.
