Fujifilm USA is offering a bunch of great rebates on Fujifilm X and GFX gear. Full list here.
But also here in good old Europe we have some serious deals going on, that can vary on the country.
The main course of the meal is a €600/£500 rebate on lenses if you purchase a Fujifilm X-T3 or Fujifilm X-T4 (check if available in your country, too).
And, instead offering deals on the Fujifilm GFX50R, like in USA, Fujifilm EU decided to give it a new, permanent lower retail price of €3,499!
The Fujifilm GFX 100 is coming on May 23 (and we have shared everything we know about it here), and while waiting for this mega event and live blog on Fujirumors, we are going to take a look to the current Fujifilm GFX selection.
Tony Northrup took a Fujifilm GFX 50R for his Barcelona trip and now published a review about it (video above).
I will sum it up for you below, but I would quickly like to correct a few errors he made.
He says the GFX sensor surface area is 30% bigger than Full Frame, but it is actually 70% bigger. This is not correct, and Tony makes the MF sensor sound smaller than it really is.
The Fujinon XF lens only deals are gone, but some deals remained, and some new ones came. Down below the overview of the official Fujifilm deals.
Other good news: The 50% discount on Capture One Pro 12 has been extended through April.

We already questioned a few times, if these awards make sense, by disclosing how the award business works. But for some reason many Fujifilm X and GFX still rejoice when they read about Fujifilm winning an EISA, TIPA or whatever else award.
So I don’t want to be the spoilsport here, let’s just ignore it all and rejoice once again :).
