Fujifilm X-H1 launch deals are available also in Europe, for example a €150 cashback in the Netherlands, £100 trade-in deals in the United Kingdom. Select your country in the Fuji promo page, and see if you country is included. However, Fujifilm is notoriously slow to update this page. So while Fuji Netherlands already announced the deal on theri facebook page, their official website still does not mention the deal. I recommend the good old way to see if your country is included: give them a call ;)

The size of the X-A10 is identical to the one of the X-A20, so we can make a nice comparison between the XC16-50 and XC15-45. But it’s no surprise, because here on FR we already showed you weeks ago here the exact size of the lens, and the latest leak just confirms it ;)

The Fujinon XC15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 PZ OIS will be bigger than Sony’s Power Zoom solution, the Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6, but I guess that Fujifilm tried to find the sweet spot between compact size and image quality.

Not a pancake zoom…. more of a muffin zoom ;)

And remember that Fujifilm outsourced the development of the X-A line, because they needed R&D money for the Fujifilm GFX. We reported about it here.

Hey all,

what we have for you today is the close estimated size (not 100%, but very close) of the Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 Power Zoom, Fujifilm’s most compact zoom lens that will be announced on January 31, along with the Fujifilm X-A5.

The size of 16-50 and 18 on X-A3 are made using camerasize.com. FujiRumors just added an empty X-A3 body, and added a line with the size of the XC15-45.

As you can see, the XC 15-45 will be much closer in size to the pancake XF18mmF2 than to the Fujinon XC16-50. I’d say it will have roughly the size of the Fujinon XF35mmF2 WR. Only the XF18mmF2 and the XF27mmF2.8 will be smaller in the Fujinon XF and XC world.

The Fujinon XC15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 will be bigger than Sony’s Power Zoom solution, the Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6, but I guess that Fujifilm tried to find the sweet spot between compact size and image quality.

Capture One has made great progress regarding X-Trans support in 2017. For example, they added Fujifilm compressed RAW support, OpenCL is now also supported by X-trans files and more (we reported about it here).

Still no film simulation profiles, but there is a great homebrew at the fuji-x-forum.

Also tethering is not supported, but if you own an X-T2, X-Pro2 or X-T1, an easy workaround is to use Fujifilm’s free tethering software X Acquire. We also have shared a video tutorial on tethering with X Acquire and Capture One here.

Sadly this is not a deal for Fujifilm GFX 50S shooters, since this camera is not supported (and probably never will).

At this stage, I think also the X-E3 is not supported, but I guess support will come, since they support all other Fujifilm X series cameras, too. Full list of supported Fujifilm cameras here.

Yes! But after having cleaned and repaired the dirtiest toilets in Nicaragua, played with the kids there and distributed food to kids living in the largest waste disposal site of Central America, I wanted to continue to find a way to support a little bit some projects around the world, also via FujiRumors.

With that said… the Fujifilm GFX is on my radar, and I’m working restelessy to fund it :)
