Fujifilm X-H2S Firmware 1.01 Released

Fujifilm has released a new firmware for the brand new Fujiiflm X-H2S. You can find all the details below.

Revised specification from Ver.1.00 to Ver.1.01

  1. The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused the firmware hung-up when the following three conditions coincide.
    •“ON” or “ON HDMI ONLY” is selected at the “HIGH SPEED REC” menu.
    •”360Mbps” or “720Mbps” is selected in the “MEDIA REC SETTING” menu.
    •”Blackmagic” or “ATMOS” is selected in the “RAW OUTPUT SETTING” menu.
  2. The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the shutter remains closed after taking a picture when using the “E-FRONT CURTAIN SHUTTER” with the slow shutter speed more than 2 minutes.

Atomos adds Fujifilm X-H2S Support

With the release of AtomOS 10.77 today, ATOMOS is enabling support for the Fujifilm X-H2S to record Apple ProRes RAW over HDMI.

Also joining the ProRes RAW eco-system is the FUJIFILM X-H2S. When combined with the NINJA V/V+, the RAW video output from the Fujifilm X-H2S can be recorded as 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW at frame sizes up to 6.2K and frame rates up to 29.97fps. Up to 6.2Kp30 and 4.8Kp60 12-bit ProRes RAW with NINJA V+ and up to 6.2Kp24 and 4.8Kp30 12-bit ProRes RAW with the NINJA V, this new high performance flagship model in the X Series lineup comes with a new image sensor and processor with the highest video performance in the history of the X Series.
