Fujifilm X100V with old NP-W126S Battery and Fujifilm X-T4 with Completely New Battery

Hey folks,

I just finished a dinner with friends, but before I go to bed, I thought I could publish a rumor that has just been confirmed to me, and answers one of the questions you had regarding the Fujifilm X100V.

Some of you asked in the comments to previous rumors, if the Fujifilm X100V will have the brand new battery of the Fujifilm X-T4.

Well, according to our sources, the Fujifilm X100V will have the classic old Fujifilm NP-W126S battery.

So, the brand new battery (which I remind will not even be the GFX NP-T125 battery) will be reserved for the Fujifilm X-T4 only, and of course only later find its way to future camera bodies.

New Fujifilm X100V Lens still Compatible with current WCL/TCL-X100 Converters

After our rumor, that the Fujifilm X100V will have an improved 23mmf/2 lens, I got some emails from current X100 shooters, who are planing to upgrade, worried that their current Fujinon WCL-X100 II and Fujinon TCL-X100 II.

According to our sources, the Fujifilm X100V will be still compatible with the Fujinon WCL-X100 II and Fujinon TCL-X100 II.

Fujifilm X100V Registered and Coming February 4

Finally… half a year after FR told you that the successor of the Fujifilm X100F will be called Fujifilm X100V, the registration of the Fujifilm X100V name has been spotted by nokishita.

Fujifilm’s “X100V (Black / Silver)” has been registered at overseas dealers only with the name of the new product yesterday. Announced around February 4?

The Fujifilm X100V will be announced at the Fujifilm X summit live stream on February 4.

FujiRumors already leaked the first real life Fujifilm X100V image, as well as several specs:

Fujifilm X-T4 and Fujifilm X100V will NOT Be Announced on the Same Day

Fellow FR readers,

I know, there is the Fujifilm X summit on Februray 4 (with live stream on FujiRumors).

But if you were hoping for the Fujifilm X-T4 announcement, then get ready to be disappointed.

The Fujifilm X-T4 announcement, with full specs and details, will not happen on February 4.

I have the date, given to me recently, and I will share it soon.

TO THE SOURCE: I just make quickly my mandatory checks. But even if not double confirmed, I trust you, and if no answer comes from trusted sources soon, I will share anyway.

Fujifilm X100V: First Leaked Image (Low Res)

FujiRumors is happy to present to you the very first images of the Fujifilm X100V.

As we told you already here, it has a nice 2 way tilt screen :).

We have just reported about the GF45-100 and Fujifilm X-T200 leaks.

The date for the announcement is January 23.

But I want to make clear, that the Fujifilm X-T4 and Fujifilm X100V will NOT be announced on January 23. The announcement will happen later.

FujiRumors told you already in December (!!!) that the Fujifilm X100V will be announced in February.

The date leaked is February 4. If both, the X100V and X-T4 will be announced there, or there will be different announcements, I will work and let you know soon.

EXCLUSIVE: Fujifilm X100V with 2 way Tilt Screen

Hey guys, had a good weekend? I hope so.

I thought we start the week with something fun… a nice rumor, courtesy of a kind source (thanks) :).

Back in November 2, there was an original report on dpreview, that said:

I also got a little bit of gossip from the Fujifilm rep on the x100 refresh: He said that he has seen three mock ups of potential designs, two of which have flip screens (with one modelled on the Xpro3’s).

That triggered a wave of disinformation, claiming the X100V would have the X-Pro3 hidden screen.

FujiRumors tried to stop this speculation immediately on November 3 here, by telling you the Fujifilm X100V will not have the Fujifilm X-Pro3 screen.

Today, thanks to our fantastic sources, we would like to disclose the full truth: the Fujifilm X100V will have a 2 way tilt screen!

Now, you know I shoot X-E3, so tilt screens are not a priority for me. But it’s also true that shooting from the hip can come in quite handy during street photography, as Zack Arias has shown here (go to minute 0:40).

So there will be some who love the idea of a tilt screen, others will hate it. Let us know in the survey what’s your take on this.

Fujifilm X100V with Improved 23mm f/2 lens

As you know, FujiRumors exclusively told you already the release month and estimated price for the Fujifilm X100V.

One of many long term rumors I have shared back in the first half of 2019, was that the Fujifilm X100V would come with a new lens.

I also added shortly after, that it would still be a 23mm lens.

Many started speculating if maybe Fujifilm would have implemented an f/1.4 lens, but according to our information, the lens will be still a 23mm f/2 lens.

However, there will be tweaks making this new lens technically superior to the one on the X100F, which, I remind you, is the same lens we find on the original 12 megapixel Fujifilm X100 announced back in 2010.

So high time for an improvement on the lens!

Here on FujiRumors we have always reserved a special place to what you guys voted the by far most sexy camera in the entire Fujifilm world, the Fujifilm X100 line.

In fact, the Fujifilm X100 lives in a world of its own… a world where specs do not really seem to mean a lot.

Just see our massive Fujifilm X100 group, which, among all our Fujifilm X/GFX groups, is the one with less gear talk of all.

This is a natural consequence of the philosophy behind this camera: keep it simple, focus on creating images.
