A FR-reader grabbed this deal already and contacted Adorama and they told him it is not a mistake and these are brand new X-E3 cameras and they have a handful of samples left (less than 10). So grab it now here if you are interested.
There is this weird idea that keeps hammering my head.
It says: sell the X-T4 and X-E3 and get the Fujifilm X-E4.
Why?
Because the X-E4 would be the perfect fusion between the form factor I love (X-E3) and the power I sometimes need (X-T4). Plus it would have a two way tilt screen which I vastly prefer over the selfie screen on my X-T4 (even though in some radical composition necessities it can be very helpful).
So this weekend I will just make shameless private use of FujiRumors and ask what you think about this idea.
But let me be clear: this post is not to say the X-E3 is not a capable camera. I mean, I shot a wedding with it and it worked just fine. But the X-T4 is simply the more powerful tool and in some occasion this extra power can be useful.
So why am I still hesitating?
The reason is simple: I’d no longer have an X series camera with IBIS (only my GFX100S).
Now, I know some guys claim IBIS is for losers and it completely destroys the photographic purists experience. But trust me, when you hike for hours up a mountain (as I love to do), and maybe at some very narrow path you want to stop to grab a quick picture with a tired and shaking hand or you have your son on the your back moving around while you try to take a picture, then having the IBIS solution as an option is more then welcome. And if I don’t need it, I turn it off… easy ;).
So what should I do?
And yes, I know the 5th generation of Fujifilm cameras is coming. I will probably get one of those cameras, too. So maybe it would be better to wait and see what Fujifilm has to offer in 2022/early 2023, and based on that see which cameras sell, keep and buy.
I don’t know, I am confused. Maybe just sell everything and go for X-E4. Or wait a bit longer, see what the future brings, and then take decisions.
And since lately I am so absorbed by Fujifilm X-E4 reviews, trying to make up my mind, I will share a couple of reviews down below.

Fujifilm has released several firmware updates.

The main course of the meal is improved support for the Fujinon XF50mmF1.0 R WR. for “enhanced AF speed and enabling Color Shading Correction to mitigate subtle color casts when images are made at the lens’ maximum F1.0 aperture“.
I wish Fujifilm would specify, which bugs are fixed. For example, as FujiRumors found out for first, the recent X-T4 “minor bug fix” was actually a major one, as it fixed the exposure stepping issue.
Anyway, down below all the details.
I blog on FujiRumors since almost a decade now, and over all these years, I have heard many times announcements of the death of the Fujifilm X series since the launch of the original Sony A7. And the same “Fujifilm APS-C is dead” voices continue to come back, may it be the announcement fo the Nikon Z5 or the imminent announcement of the Sony A7c.
Now, I already showed which compromises “cheap” full frame cameras have to do, in order to compete with high end APS-C cameras. You can check it out in this article.
But today we talk about the Sony A7c, a camera that will be priced above $2k according to SonyAlphaRumors (hence more than twice the price of the Fujifilm X-E3).

Disclaimer (read to avoid anger :) )
No matter if full frame, APS-C or medium format. There is not the perfect sensor size, and each system has its Pros and Cons.
However, this article is just an attempt to try to understand, why DPReview and Petapixel think that APS-C is the sweet spot. So I listed a few reasons, where APS-C could be considered better than full frame.
By no means I want to say that full frame or medium format is worse. All I want to say is that also APS-C has it’s strong cards to play in the current mirrorless war.
Tell me, what would be the fun, if Fujifilm would just release what we customers expect? No fun at all, right?
So Fujifilm decided to surprise us and give us something unexpected ;).
But I invite you to read carefully to avoid misunderstandings!
A few months ago here, we told you that Fujifilm will release two mid-range cameras within the end of the Japanese fiscal year (March 2021). Of course if COVID-19 does not force Fujifilm to change plans again.
Now here is the thing.
When FujiRumors shared that rumor, 99% of you guys said “easy, those must be the long awaited X-T40 and the revived X-E4.”
Well, not really.
I can tell you today, that one of those two cameras will be a new mid-range camera line, hence not a direct successor to the Fujifilm X-T30 or Fujifilm X-E3. It’s something different.
And to be clear: there will be two mid-range cameras. This means, besides this new camera we rumor today, there will be another one, which could be a refresh of something we already know, or Fujifilm could surprise us also with the second one.
Hence, in terms of mid-range cameras, here is what we can expect in the next few months:
