Back in July 2019 (!!!) we reported about how some Fujifilm X-E3 with lens combos started to be marked as discontinued at some stores.
The news today: BHphoto now marks also the Fujifilm X-E3 black body only as discontinued.
Fujifilm Europe has launched new cashback/instant rebate deals.
Down below you can see the list of deals as listed at the official Fujifilm Germany website.

Just yesterday here we reported how, according to BCN ranking, Fujifilm saw, in March, a huge 115% increase in sales in Japan, while all other camera manufacturers dropped up to 50%.
Now Japanese store MapCameras published their top selling camera rankings.
Keep in mind, though, that this is not representative for overall sales.
The most reliable data we probably have about the worldwide success of various camera brands, is this report from a Techno System Reports, a major marketing research company located in Japan that sells this data at a very high price, but somehow it went public at the Japanese site toyokeizai, and FujiRumors spotted it for you and shared it here.
The data of Techno System Reports reflects the mirrorless camera sales, and it shows that Fujifilm is on the third position, just a tiny margin behind Canon, and substantially behind Sony.
With that said, if big retailers share their sales data, it might not be representative for the overall market, but it can still give an approximate indication of what the market wants.
With that said, here are the top sellers at MapCameras for March 2020.
Fujifilm decided to add the Fujifilm X-E3 to their current X/GFX deals.
The X-E3 is now rebated at AmazonUS . At BHphoto and Adorama, the very same combo is only $100 off. Also, you save $150 on the X-E3 with 23/2 kit.
I expect AmazonUS to end the extra discount soon, so you better grab it now, if you are interested in X-E3.

When Fujifilm launched the Fujifilm X-E3, they made something terribly smart, that I strongly believe contributed to the success of the Fujifilm X-E3: they sold it bundled with the Fujinon XF23mm F2 for the attractive price of $949, basically making you save $250 over the regular price of $1,200.
And for months, this combo kept up selling decently.
But something strange is happening these days.
The Fujifilm X-E3 with XF 23mm F2 combo is starting to get listed as back-ordered or even discontinued all over the world.
BHphoto here and Adorama here listed the black X-E3 with 23/2 as back-ordered, whereas WexUK here is a tiny bit more explicit:
We no longer sell this product and will not be receiving any new stock. Check below for availability of second-hand units.
At the time of this post, you can still find a limited number of black X-E3 with 23/2 at AmazonUS.
So far, it seems only the black X-E3 with 23/2 is back-ordered. The X-E3 black body only as well as the silver X-E3 + 23/2 combo are still available at BHphoto, Adorama, AmazonUS and also WexUK. But I don’t know what will happen once also the silver combo one runs out of stock.
Maybe Fujifilm decided that it’s time to end the nice combo deal.

I am a Fujifilm dinosaur, and as such, I have good memory of the Fuji past.
So for those of you, who didn’t read FujiRumors over the past 8 years, or joined the Fuji X system just recently, you must know that the Fujifilm X-E line faced complicated times.
It’s summer, which means 2 full months of holidays from my teaching job!
I have already passed 2 weeks with that annoying SonyAlphaRumors guy in beautiful Croatia. :)
However, I have no other travels planed, given that I married in May and must a little bit recover financially now (*).
So, together with my wife we decided to spend most of our summer just hiking on the mountains around my home. And frankly, I do not desire nor need more than this right now.
Sometimes we sleep on a mountain hut and enjoy the sunrises at high altitude (and with a bit of luck also meeting fellow Fujifilm shooters up there).
We might, though, make one short honeymoon city trip, maybe to Paris?

Well, since I bought the Fujifilm X-E3, I have basically never touched my trusty Fujifilm X-T1 anymore (which still holds the sceptre for taking my all time favorite image).
My wife kindly invited me to sell it, but the answer I could give her was no other than this one :).
So, to justify the fact that I still own the X-T1, I took it out for a recent mountain hike, put it into my Camslinger bag, and shot again a whole day with it.
It was like rediscovering the Fujifilm X-T1, and here are 3 things I loved and hated about shooting with it again.

The Fujifilm X-T3 grabs almost all the attention in the Fuji X world. And surely it deserves it, but it also overshadows other cameras, which might not be as new and impressive in terms of specs, but they are still reliable workhorses or travel companions.

Fujifilm has started to drop prices on several Fujifilm cameras also in Europe.
Depending on the country you live, the new retail price has already been set or will be set within the the next few days.
We are talking of new retail price, not a time limited price drop.
The products, that will get a new price tag are the Fujifilm X-H1, Fujifilm X-T2, Fujifilm X-T20, Fujifilm X-E3 and Fujifilm X-T100, body only and kit combos.
Note that AmazonDE marks the cameras mentioned above as discounted, but this is acutally the new retail price.

It looks like Fujifilm set a new MSRP for he Fujifilm X-H1, Fujifilm X-Pro2, Fujifilm X-E3, Fujifilm X-T20, Fujifilm X-T100 and Fujifilm X-A5. The price is lower than in 2018, and stores do not mark it as a deal.
Hence, the Fujifilm X-H1 with grip is still $900 cheaper than just a few days ago, but given the brand new retail price of the X-H1, the savings add up to $467.
Strangly the official retail price of the Fujifilm X-T2 is still $1,599, but you can buy it for $1,099 with a $500 price drop.
