New Fujinon XF and G lens deals are now running in USA.
The new deals are not as strong as the ones that expired back in March, but this time Fujifilm included lenses and cameras, that were not discounted last time
At Photoforum 2019 in Moscow, a Russian youtuber went hands on with the Fujinon XF 33mm f/1.0 R WR and XF 16-80mm f/4.
The youtuber had a chat with the Fuji rep, that the automatic google translation tool has a hard time to tranlsate, so if any Russian FR-reader has some spare time to do something good for the FR-community, feel free to drop your translation in the comments down below.
Until then, all I could get is that apparently the youtuber, after handling the XF33mm f/1.0, says:
“it feels like around 800g weight“.

33/1.0 dummy represents weight and size for now. Guess it will be pretty expensive. Awaiting next year
16-80 will be affordable lens with extendable barrel (dummy shows folded state only). Also said that 16-80 will be lightweight lens for travellers and videographers
Of course the unit shown is just a dummy (the lens is on the roadmap for 2020), but dummies are usually accurate representations of the lens in terms of size, look and weight.
With that said, it’s still a long way, so there might be changes in size and weight until the final Fujinon XF33mm f/1.0 hits the market in 2020, and dummies we see later on this year might look different than the early ones we see now.
Regarding the Fujinon XF 16-80mm f/4, I remind you that Fujifilm said it will come this fall.

STC Optics, an Asian brand that manufactures various kinds of filters, said that clip-in filters for Fujifilm X series cameras are “comingsoon“. In the video above they also show a clip filter for GFX, but so far no indications about it on their website.
As far as I know, STC Optics would be the first brand to release such filters for Fujifilm cameras. Other well known brands include Astro Hutech and Astronomik.
The fact that you attach the filter in front of the sensor instead of on in front of the lens, gives several advantages:
This is a good news for Fujifilm users, because Fujifilm cameras are very good for astro work, due to their superior sensitivity to some wavelengths (like hydrogen alpha, that most of the nebulae are made of) and good ISO performances.
While Fujifilm offers deals about 2 or 3 times a year, traditionally the best deals happen between February/March, since the Japanese fiscal year ends in March, and Fujifilm tries hard to sell as much as possible to show up with better figures in front of investors.

So, the huge Fujifilm X / GFX deals will expire very soon, and I have checked what was the favorite gear the FujiRumors community decided to buy.
And to be clear: the results below are only about Fujifilm gear bought by the FujiRumors community and do not represent the overall sales for Fujifilm.
Fujifilm’s f/2 lens line keeps up being your favorite, and you can get them discounted if bundled with X-T30. But the f/2 lenses sell strong also if not included in the bundle.
It’s a head to head race between X-H1 and X-T3, with the X-H1 winning by a very small margin. The new low retail price on Fuji X-H1 definitely helped to push sales, making this camera, in my opinion, best value for the money in the current Fuji lineup.
The X-T10/20/30 line is notoriously (and undeservedly) a very low selling line here on FujiRumors. It is far behind the X-T3 and X-H1, and in 2018, even the Fujifilm GFX 50R sold better than the Fujifilm X-T20.
Despite the lower new retail price on Fujifilm GFX 50S, the Fujifilm GFX 50R keeps up selling better than the “S”. Fujifilm managers said they were surprised by the 50R demand.

I get asked this questions very often, so I will say it again now: the Fujifilm X/GFX deals (save up to $1,000) will end March 30. Only the Fujifilm X-T30 bundle deals (save $300) will run until April 22.
February/March are probably the best time to hunt for deals in the Fujifilm world, since the Japanese fiscal year ends on March 31, and Fujifilm is trying hard to sell as much as possible to show up with the best possible numbers in front of investors.
