Much has been leaked about the Fujfilm X-Pro2 so far (it’s probably the most leaked camera ever!).

However, I know you are all waiting to know the price of the X-Pro2.

Now here is the thing: Fujfilm waited unusually long, before setting the final price.

But since you guys fill my Facebook, Twitter and email account with questions regarding the X-Pro2 price, I’ll share with you the last thing I’ve heard, even though it’s not a 100% precise price tag.

Europe: the price should be around  €1,699-1,799. Please note that the price in Europe can have some variations according to the different coutries.

USA: It should cost between $1,799-1,899. However, fellow X-shooter T-Man pre-ordered an X-Pro2 at his local store and said that his receipt shows only $1,699. For more details you better ask T-man directly here.

NOTE: Since once again the critics came via social media, here is the thing: I just had a surgery, the infection caused fever and I’m taking antiobiotics. • Improved Noise Reduction (sounds like we are going to get rid of waxy skin tones at high ISO in jpeg’s ;) )
• Pixel Mapping

• New Menu Interface
• The X-Pro2 will use Fujifilm NP-W126 batteries (for the best cheap 3rd party batteries, check out this post).
• EXR III processor will get the much cooler name “X-processor”.

ATTENTION: The Russian site dphotoworld.net took our X PRO 2 leaked images and changed the watermarks. Many sites like a major rumor site, than linked to the russian copycat site.

I want to let you know that as usual I „removed“ small insignificant pics form the original image to spot copycat sites. I will soon post the original picture to proof that this images were taken from FR as they have the design change I made :)

The major rumor site so far has not answered to our request to change the link. I hope he will do it soon.

What you see above, is the first real life image of the Fujifilm X-Pro2. It looks exactly like the sketches made 2 days ago by our trusted Japanese source.

This leak also comes from a very kind trusted source, who wanted to make little X-mas present to all of us :-) .

At this point, allow me to express my deepest gratitude to all sources, who ever shared correct information with Fujirumors. The Trusted Japanese just wrote me and said that it’s high time for us to get a very clear idea about how the X-Pro2 looks like. :-)

According to a Source, who was right in the past, the Fujifilm X-Pro2 will feature a new black&white film simulation called “ACROS“, like Fuji’s Professional black & white negative film, the Neopan ACROS 100.

At AmazonUS you can find some ACROS reviews and samples.

As always, everyone has different needs and different tastes, but for me film simulation are fun and I’m looking forward to this one, too.

I also got a hint from an anonymous source about this (thanks).
