The FujiRumors CP+ 2019 live coverage continues, and this time I have found the answer to the question, when the Fujinon XF16-80mm f/4 and GF 50mm f/3.5 will be released at the Japanese site capa.getnavi here:

The Japanese site also shared Fujifilm GFX100 images and media slides (in Japanese), but don’t worry, FujiRumors has already leaked them all (and even more in detail) a few weeks ago in this article.
I did translate all the Japanese slides, and there is nothing that we do not know already about the Fujifilm GFX100.. For additional GFX 100 images you can also check out the Polish site optyczne.
What I will translate for you, though, are the media slides of the lenses.

For the X system, I have picked the most voted prime and most voted zoom lens, since last time we launched a huge lens request poll, Fujifilm also picked our top prime and top zoom, and made our wishes become reality.
For the G system, the selection was smaller, so I picked only the most voted lens.
When it comes to firmware wish lists, the race is extremely tight. Check the winner down below.
I understand, that the big Fujifilm X Summit coverage happened right at the start of the weekend and fewer people read FujiRumors.
But for the first time ever, Fujifilm publicly asked us for help in deciding which lenses they should make next, and we have to answer in the best way possible.

Fujifilm top manager Toshi Ilda said during the Fujifilm X Summit “after seeing the results, maybe next week, you will see a new lens roadmap“, and we don’t want to miss our opportunity to impress Fujifilm with our feedback. ;)
Fujifilm hold the first X summit at the GPP in Dubai, an event aimed to listen to customer feedback in the best Kaizen tradition and discuss about the Fujifilm future.
For example, Fujifilm asked people which X and GFX lenses they should make next and which firmware update should come next.
Sadly there was not much participation (hardly 50 comments), so let’s see what happens if I share the same polls here on FujiRumors, the only Fujifilm community that can collect several thousands of votes within a few hours ;).

Big news: just as we rumored a few days ago, the Fujifilm X-T3 will get a major firmware update, centered on autofocus improvements. It will come in April. Fujifilm showed a video demo of the improvements, and it was fairly impressive. Better face and eye tracking.

XF35mmF1.4 vs XF33mmF1.0: the XF 33/1 needs to be twice as big, since it needs to let in and correct twice the light

they show a very small cubic and modular GFX, where you can attach a grip unit and viewfinder unit. So you can build the GFX according to your style (full video here and original full video here)
the modular GFX is just a mockup, but Fujifilm hopes it won’t take long to create such a small device

Fujifilm shows a working prototype of GFX100 and they take a sample on stage, including pixel peeping

With the release of the more affordable, smaller and lighter Fujifilm GFX50R, Fujifilm has dropped the price of the Fuji GFX50S to $5,499 (check BHphoto, Adorama and AmazonUS).
The Fujifilm GFX 50S might be still more expensive over the “R”, but if offers features the Fujifilm GFX50R does not have, such as the 3 way tilt screen, a tiltable and ultra large EVF, top LCD screen and more.

Beta testers of the Mitakon 65/1.4 like Jonas Rask have already shared samples at our Fujifilm GFX facebook group since several weeks, such as Jonas Rask, who who say here:
“It’s a fantastic lens that I’ve really enjoyed shooting the past months. Not as sharp as the GF63 counterpart wide open, but it holds up really nice when stopped down.
Wide open, corners are not as sharp as center – obviously. But it has minimal vignette. Just to be clear, I was told that this is NOT a converted full frame 50mm f/0.95.
What you will get with this lens is a really unique look to your images.
We’ve all heard the phrase “I love that medium format look” – which basically translates into “Wide field of view combined with narrow depth of field“
This lens will make your full body portraits look like something out of a Pentax 67 with 105/2.4.
