The Fujifilm X-T30 has just been registered online under the codename FF180006. It has bluetooth 4.2 like the Fujifilm X-T3. You can find the registration, spotted by nokishita, here.

Well, actually neither Nokishita, nor the official registration, mention the Fujifilm X-T30.

Only you, the FujiRumors readers, know that it’s the Fuji X-T30, since we already leaked back in December, that it will be released in early 2019. An information, we happily share with all Fuji lovers out there. :)

Or wait… could it be another camera? ;)

Fujifilm X-T2 with Hand Grip for $1,099, Fujifilm GFX 50S New Retail Price and Deals on GFX 50R, X-T3, X-T20, X-E3 Continue

The X-T2 Grip Deal

BHphoto is offering the Fujifilm X-T2 with metal hand grip for $1,099.

New Fuji GFX 50S Price / Old GFX 50R Deal

It seems that Fujifilm decided to lower the price of the Fujifilm GFX 50S permanently, hence the new retail price is $5,499. At least I can’t see any remark on BHphoto, Adorama and AmazonUS that this is just a deal (the same deal that expired on Dec. 29).

Looks like the Fujifilm GFX50R, which sells for $4,499, affected negatively GFX 50S sales, hence the new retail price.

Also, the bundle deal on Fujifilm GFX50R should have been expired on December 29, but BHphoto and Adorama still offer the deal.

TOP SELLING PRODUCTS OVERALL

The Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD and Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 PD are officially recommended by Fujifilm to charge your cameras, while in use or when switched off. All details here.

And after 3 years, the SF Cable plug adapter loses the 1st position, probably because the brand new Fujifilm X-T3 charger, the Fujifilm BC-W126S, has a wall plug adapter built-in.

TOP SELLING CAMERAS

The 4th position goes to the Fujifilm GFX 50R, which sold far better than the Fujifilm GFX50S, and here on FujiRumors it also sold better than the Fujifilm X-T20.

In real life, the Fujifilm X-T20 obviously sells much better than the Fujifilm GFX50R and also better than the Fujifilm X-H1. But the FujiRumors community seems to be more interested in Fujifilm’s high-end products.

TOP SELLING LENS OVERALL

The Laowa 9mm F2.8 Zero-D was by far the best-selling lens here on FujiRumors, beating all Fujinon lenses.

This shows that Fuji X Shooters are not Fujinon-slaves, and we are happy to spend our hard-earned money in third-party glass, as long as the quality is good.

The Laowa 9mm F2.8 Zero-D is now available only at BHphoto with $50 discount (expires December 31) and you can find it for regular price at VenusOptics here.

If only Sigma, Tokina, Tamron & Co would make X mount glass, too. I’m sure they would sell really good amongst us X shooters.

TOP SELLING FUJINON LENSES

In 2018 we had the biggest price drop on the stellar Fujinon XF16mm f/1.4 (save $150 until Dec.29). This helped to boost the sales of this lens. Check the full list of massive Fujifilm X and GFX deals, they all expire today.

When it comes to Fujinon GF lenses, the best seller was the Fujinon GF63mmF2.8.

TOP SELLING THIRD PARTY LENSES

The Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 is consistently a top seller since years. And the FujiRumors community seems to have found in the Mitakon Speedmaster 35mm f/0.95 the perfect lens to manage the impatience, while waiting for the Fujinon XF33mmF1.0 in 2020.

The Mitakon and Rokinon are discounted today only at the BHphoto Mega Deal zone.

The GOOD News:

The Fujifilm X-T3 wins the award for the best camera of 2018, beating the full frame Sony A7III and Nikon Z6.

The Fujifilm X-T3 has already been declared best camera of 2018 by many big youtubers and blogs. Check out our recent best of 2018 overview here.

The BAD News:

The Fujifilm X-T100 has been declared worst video camera of 2018, with a useless 4K. The Fujifilm XF10 is the thrid worst camera of 2018. Bad and unreliable focussing. Slow, laggy.

Dear Fujifilm, this is what happens if you put an old and slow processor in cameras that otherwise would have a very nice sensor.

The MISSING News:

Strangly, not a single Fujinon lens makes it into the list.

I believe the Fujinon XF200mmF2 would have deserved a top spot, and not to forget the Fujinon XF8-16mmF2.8 or the Fujinon GF250mmF4.

And maybe also the medium format Fujifilm GFX50R should have gotten at least an honorable mention.

Lensmate says they are still working with their Anodizer on a Silver X-T3 Thumbrest, because the Fujifilm X-T3 Silver topped camera is slightly darker than, say the X100F, it is challenging to get a satisfactory finish.

Fujifilm X-T30 To be Released First Quarter 2019

A trusted source told me (thanks), that the Fujifilm X-T30 will be released in the first quarter of 2019 (January-March).

This pretty much fits with what we expected in our Fujifilm X camera replacement timeline, where we speculated, based on Fuji’s camera refresh-cycle, when the Fujifilm X-H2, Fujifilm X-T4, Fujifilm X-T30, Fujifilm X-Pro3, Fujifilm X-E4 and Fujifilm X200 (or X100V) could be released.
