Definitely in line in terms of looks and feel with the lovely Voigtländer ULTRON 27mm F2.

Usually the first to get new Voigtländer lenses for shipping is Voigtlander USA Distributor CameraQuest, which should list this lens for sale soon at their Amazon Storefront page.

Kamlan 32mm f/1.1 Displayed at CP+

Recently I told you how Kamlan unveiled the Kamlan 70mm f/1.1 for Fujifilm X at CP+.

In that article, I told you it will be their second f/1.1 lens for Fujifilm X mount after the Kamlan 50mm 1.1.

But that was not correct. Kamlan is going to offer also the Kamlan 32mm f/1.1 lens. You can actually see it also on the images I’ve shared in the original post as well as on the French website Phototrend (image on top of this article and link here).

So we have three f/1.1 lenses from Kamlan:

In addition to that, to complete the list, there is also a Kamlan 15mm f/2.0 that you can find only at Ali Express.

Thanks to the FR-reader who anonymously informed me about this and allowed us to extend our list of Kamlan lenses for Fujifilm X mount.

Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 X Series Cameras Compatibility List (Not for All X Cameras)

Samyang has announced the lovely and compact Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 X earlier today

But attention: while it is an X mount autofocus lens, it won’t work with all X series cameras.

Samyang says it is will work with X-Trans cameras, but not with Fuji’s Bayer cameras (X-T***, X-A*, X-A** lines).

But that’s not entirely correct, as not all X-Trans cameras are actually compatible. In fact, the X-Trans Fujifilm X-M1 is also not on the list of compatible cameras.

Maybe it would be more correct to say: all the cameras not made by Fujifilm (hence the ones outsourced to the Xacti Corporation), will not worked with the new Samyang.

FR-Readers Wishlist Corner: Firmware Suggestions, Video-Less X-Pro4, Fujinon XF16-160mmF3.5-5.6 and More

Wishlist Corner

I am terribly sorry…. terribly sorry that many of you had to wait so long to be featured.

But no matter how hard I work, especially in a crazy 2022, with 3 higher end cameras coming out and 4 XF lenses coming out, I simply could not find time to collect all your wishes and share them.

So I’ll do it today… I grabbed a large beer, took a deep breath, and worked to organise the wishes I have received over the last few months in this article.

So… down below it is: the FR-readers wishlist roundup

The Latest and Greatest…. NOT!

Not that it is my fault… but I certainly do not help.

I mean, I am attracted by the latest and greatest, my GAS is in constant frenzy (and my wife in constant worries ;)).

My techy-nerdy side is always looking at the details that make the latest and greatest Fujifilm gear better than the one I already own.

With one little distinction: my focus on the latest and greatest does not remain contained to my private life, but I share it publicly here on FujiRumors.

Tens of thousands of fellow X shooters follow me every day in my “obsession” with the latest and greatest, and sometimes the message here on FR might pass, that only what’s brand new and shiny is worth to be considered for this blog.

So let me re-focus, let me for one time ignore whatever Fujifilm has launched in terms of super new gear, and share a roundup that focuses on not so new gear that still brings great joy every day to many of us.

So, I am sorry, Fujifilm X-H2, X-H2S, XF56mmF1.2 R WR, GF20-35mmF4 and even Fujifilm X-T5 and what not. This is not your article. This is not your space.

Nope, this space is for all that gear that came before you and made Fujifilm great, before you even ever saw the light of the day.

Fujinon XF56mmF1.2 II Additional Specs: 67mm Filter Size, Weather Resistant and No Linear Motor

When Fujifilm started to release the newest f/1.4 lens trinity, they all got the weather sealing, a new optical design to resolve the 40MP of the X-H2 and X-T5 and they also got a linear motor for blazing fast autofocus.

Well, according to our trusted sources, the Fujinon XF56mmF1.2 II will follow that path, but not completely.

We got told this by trusted sources:

So what the XF56mmF1.2 II will lack over the the latest f/1.4 lenses is the linear motor.

We remind you that the current version uses DC coreless motor (the smallest motor). Stepping motors are better but bigger. So I wonder (not rumor) if this version has a stepping motor.

Before we make any judgment on AF, let’s wait for the real world reports, which will all drop on September 8 and we will cover live here on FujiRumors

“Cr@p Light, Cr@p Backlight and Everything is just There on GFX Medium Format Files” – GFX Roundup

2022 has been an X series year so far, and therefore we haven’t covered the GFX system as much as for example last year, when the stellar Fujifilm GFX100S and the affordable Fujifilm GFX50SII hit the market.

And let me say this: Fujifilm has no hurry at all to release new GFX cameras, as the Fujifilm GFX100S is a crazy seller, which is still more often out of stock rather than in stock.

So time for FujiRumors to remind us all that there is also the GFX system out there thanks to a dedicated roundup.
