Viltrox Lens Roadmap 2024 Released

A couple of times a year, Viltrox releases a lens roadmap. And now we got the first one for 2024.

On the list we can see:

So far nothing surprising, as these are lenses that have already been teased since a long time and in some cases we could also see the first images of those lenses.

In the past, Viltrox has also teased zoom lenses coming, but so far they have not added any on the roadmap.

Meike 55mm f/1.4 X Autofocus Lens for Fujifilm X Mount Hands On Images

We already talked a couple of times last year about the Meike 55mm f/1.4 X for Fujifilm X.

We shared the first hands on images here and additional specs and images here.

Now the lens seems about to come, as a first hands on video appeared on the Chinese social media account 独立摄影师联合会 (which I share screenshots of in this article) and you can see the video here. Along with the video they write:

Only 1199! Open the box, the new AF55mm f/1.4 Fuji X bayonet autofocus lens, equivalent full-frame about 82.5mm viewing angle, the nearest focus distance is 0.61m, 52mm filter interface, weighing about 288 grams, with Fuji X, Sony E, Nikon Z and R mount.

This will be Meike’s second AF X mount lens after the Meike AF 85mm f/1.8.

Viltrox AF 56mm F1.7 XF Autofocus Lens for Fujifilm X Coming Soon

Viltrox has a couple of Fujifilm X mount autofocus lenses in the pipeline for 2024:

Well, it looks like we have to add the Viltrox AF 56mm F1.7 XF to the list of future X mount autofocus lenses for the Fujifilm X mount.

The price of the Viltrox AF 56mm f/1.7 XF should be similar to the one of the Viltrox AF 20mm F2.8 FE, which would be definitely a fantastic pricing as also highlighted by the Chinese Weibo account 独立摄影师联合会 who spotted the new lens.
