It can be turned round as you like, but 2015 was not really a super exciting Fuji year.

Sure, we got some gorgeous new lenses (like the 90mm and 16mm), we got the little nice X-T10, but all in all we did not really had many occasions to say “WOW”.

But 2016 will be completely different… and I tell you, you can be sure that I’ll put all my passion/fun/excitement (and a lot of time) into this blog, in order to make your time on FujiRumors the most informative & exciting as possible.

And I have the feeling that in 2016 you will read even more blog posts than the 659 articles published in 2015.

AmazonUS says it lound and clear: The best selling Photo Prouct of this Holiday Season is the Fujfilm Instax Film!

And believe it or not, this kind of news is very important also for the X-series, because the terrific earnings Fujfilm makes with Instax Cameras are fueling the development costs of the X cameras!

That’s why Fuji keeps up releasing new Instax models, from the brand new Selfie Instax Mini 70 to the Instax Wide 300 and the Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic, or even the Instax Mini “Hello Kitty”. And of course the Instax SHARE Smartphone Printer SP-1.

Let’s see if in 2016 also the X-series (with the X-Pro2 and X-T2) can contribute to make some nice profits for Fuji’s imaging division.

Janaury 15 is approaching… and I tell you, I’m working hard to make it the best rumor time we ever had on FujiRumors since I started this blog, 4 years ago, with my very first post, which btw. had an incredible web-response of zero (0) retweets, zero (0) likes, three (3) comments and maybe ten (10) views ;).

But things have slightly changed since that first post, and, beyond my expectations and my merits, FujiRumors has grown to the by far Largest Fujifilm X-series online Community (and you know this is why Fujifilm really reads this blog and your opinions).

Curiosity: at minute 4:05, Mark stands in front of the inspection area, where the IQ of the XF35mmF2 WR is tested after the assembling. If you wonder why Mark says “we can’t show you the inspection area. It’s highly confidential“, then maybe it’s because they are testing how the 35mm performs on a 24MP sensor X-Pro2 ;) .

It’s time to give a final answer to those asking me news via email about the Fujifilm X-T1 IR… and the final answer is: I have actually no clue what’s happening with the X-T1 IR.

The camera was announced on August 3 and supposed to be available for the American market (and only for the American market) in October. That’s at least what FujifilmUS told us at its launch. But since then, we have seen several delays, and now AmazonUS says it will be available on December 30.

So, the camera is still not available, but Adobe just announced, that Lightroom CC 2015.3 / 6.3 + Camera RAW 9.3 now support the X-T1IR.

And since we are talking of how Fuji can marvellously mess up the shipping of its products, if there is anyone out there, who can tell me, why the HS-V5 software is available in Europe since months, but still (!!!) impossible to find in North America, please let me know.

At least, the shipping of the XF35mmF2 ad 1.4x TC seem to proceed smoothly.

Let’s see how Fujifilm will manage the shipping of the X-Pro2.
