99,9% positive feedback Top Rated Authorized Fuji seller [shoplink 40237 ebay]kenmorecamera[/shoplink], is selling a [shoplink 40237 ebay]limited number of super-bokeh XF56mmF1.2 APD for $949[/shoplink]. This means a $550 price drop on the regular price. This lens is also part of the current official Fuji deals, where it is “just” $400 off and sold for $1,099.
According to a source, who was right in the past (thanks), Fujifilm is right now putting lots of R&D into creating a complete new interchangeable lenses Medium Formatcamera system (so no fixed lens MF).
Of course, take the grain of salt. This is still Not really the Medium Format Rumor Breakthrough we are waiting for, since, until now, no trusted source confirmed that Fuji is really working on it!
And while I’m dazzled by this rumor, I know that a humble enthusiast photographer like me is probably not the target of such a camera, and it would be out of my budget anyway (not even tax deduction for teachers buying cameras :( ).
But I believe that an interchangeable lenses Medium Format Fuji could find its niche amongst PRO’s and turn out to be a profitable business for Fujifilm.
Now, I have no idea how much this camera would cost, but if it was priced somewhere between the Pentax 645D and the Pentax 645Z digital MF cameras, then the MF-Fuji might even become Fujifilm’s new golden egg laying goose (this, and the Hello Kitty Instax, of course :) ).
It’s hard to get on MF rumors, really hard… but it’s not a Mission Impossible. So stay tuned on FR via Facebook, RSS-feed and Twitter,
I’ll try to get a confirmation by trusted sources ASAP… since then, take the grain of salt, and then start dreaming :)
In fact, in addition to the $900 rebate, you’ll get filters, shoulder bags, a nice Lexar 32GB Class 10 SD-card, a cleaning kit for optics and cameras and Corel Digital Organization Creativity Software Kit.
Check out this deal at Adorama here…. and then sell your X-Pro1 on ebay, if you don’t need it ;)
The XF35mmF2 is now available also in Europe. Not everywhere, though. While it’s still on pre-order status at AmazonDE & AmazonUK, a limited number is available PCHstore and AmazonITA.
In USA, now also the silver version of the XF35mmF2 is available at AmazonUS, BHphoto and Adorama.
Let’s hope the Fujfilm X-Pro2 will ship that smoothly too.
According to a new source, Fujifilm already shipped some X70’s to selected photographers for testing.
The X70 rumor is one of the oldest here on Fujirumors. A few years ago Fuji already was close to make it, but they stopped its development and put plans on ice.
If this rumor is correct, than Fujifilm not only decided to make it, but it’s development is actually at an advanced stage and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it become real within the first half of 2016 (but I have no rumors about it’s release date for now).
According to the rumors, the X70 is an EVF-less & smaller version of the X100 line.
The X-deals just started. BHphoto was the first to launch them, right on midnight. Now the US-X-Deals are available everywhere. I hope some of you can make good use of them. You have time to decide if to grab them or not until December 26. These are instant rebates.
X-Deals also almost everywhere else. At the bottom you can find a list of deals in other countries.
Here is the the list of deals published by Fujifilm.
AmazonUS + BHphoto already have the offers online… other stores will follow very soon.
Of course, if you want, you can support FujiRumors by purchasing your discounted X-gear clicking on one of the links shared here and then proceed to checkout. Zero extra costs for you, but a small percentage is valued back to FujiRumors, which helps me to keep this blog running 365 days a year… for free.

Every time I check out the images X-shooters shared at the Fujirumors facebook photostream and at the Fuji X Forum, I’m amazed about how many gorgeous images the X-community creates with X-gear: low light, sports, landscape, portrait, architecture, street, astrophotography, fashion, weddings… simply everything can be done with stunning results!
These images also tell me that, for me, Patrick, there is no real need of Full Frame to get a higher keepers rate in my shots. On the contrary, I better invest my time & money in following other photographers and learning from their work. I better buy tutorials, ebooks and go to workshops. I better know my gear and don’t blame it for the lack of my skills. I should ask for advice and study. And of course, practice… go out on the field and shoot, a lot! Try different styles. Challenge myself. Experience frustration and joy… and at the end, have Fun while painting with light!
So, for next hours, I’m out of here guys and I’ll do my homework with the X-T1 now… which is actually one of the few homeworks I really enjoy to do :)
