Fujifilm has released firmware updates for plenty of lenses that will make the autofocus more silent, the aperture operate smoother and also give better tracking performance while zooming.
That’s a very nice upgrade especially for video shooters.
Not all lenses will get all these three updates. You can find the full detailed list below.
The amazing deal on the XF56mmF1.2 is making the lens run out of stock quickly at many places. It is discontinued at BHphoto here and backordered at many other stores.

The Fujifilm GFX100 was launched back in 2019 and it was definitely revolutionary for its time, with a backside illuminated 102 megapixel sensor and IBIS, giving medium format speed and flexibility unseen until then in the digital medium format world.
I did go hands on with the Fujifilm GFX100, but these are the three main reasons I did not buy it:
too expensive
too big
I didn’t find it intuitive to use. I much prefer Fujifilm cameras with dedicated dials or at least dedicated PSAM dial.
Personally I’d have looked more forward to a Fujifilm GFX100S with 5th generation goodness or a GFX100R. But I know also the Fujifilm GFX100 has its loyal fellowship and I am working on all the details.
So definitely stay tuned on FujiRumors if you want to know more about it.

When 2023 kicked off, I shared this list of top selling Fujinon X and GFX lenses here on FujiRumors (as well as top selling cameras, accessories etc.). You can see the full list here.
You’ll note that in the BHphoto list you find the XF18mmF1.4 R LM WR and the XF23mmF1.4 R LM WR, which are totally absent in my list. This is probably because the BHphoto list includes January and February, and we know Fujifilm has launched sweet deals on those lenses (in fact I grabbed this discounted lens for myself too).
the XF56mm f/1.2 APD lens was selling strong in the last 12 months at BHphoto, and that despite the launch of the new XF56mm f/1.2 R WR, which has a wonderful smooth bokeh, too.
totally absent from the BH list is the Fujinon XF 16-80mm f/4, which on FujiRumors was by far the best selling lens, as it was sold in bundled with the Fujifilm X-T5 and therefore gave this lens a sales boost. Maybe BHPhoto only calculated the lens only sales, and ones sold as bundles?
As for the next 12 months, I am pretty sure the upcoming Fujinon XF 8mm f/3.5 will come out very high if not on top of the ranking.
