First off all I apologize for the boredom of this article. I wanted to do videos, comparisons, tests, photos, etc. but it is full season, I have 2 children, a day job and no time on my hands.

I jumped to the mirrorless realm from Nikon and I am glad I did. After I sold all my Nikon gear all I was left were my 3 Nikon flashes SB600 SB700 and SB800. For a period I continued to use them with the Fuji system but this had limitations. I shoot events and I like to have one flash on camera and at least 2 off camera. I have 2 X-T2 bodies so the numbers did not add up.

The plan…

Godox Firmware 1.2 For TT350F for Fujifilm Released

I was a bit busy with the rumors, so I missed this one… but luckily the fantastic community around FujiRumors helps me find what I don’t see :)

This time Nick informed me that Godox released a firmware update ver. 1.2 for the TT350 for Fujifilm on August 15.

To add wireless ID in C.Fn menu, thus increasing the noninterference of wireless transmission

Nick also wrote me:

I had a ***** of a time doing the firmware update. All sorts of errors and issues with windows 10. Turns out it’s the micro-USB cable. Try different ones. The one o had wasn’t a cheap or low-end one. But at my wits end, when I tried a different one. It went like silk.

The Astonishing Efficiency of the Godox/Flashpoint AC Adapter – by Fujifilm GFX 50S Shooter Markus Klinko

guest post & all images by Markus Klinko

When I initially began to integrate Flashpoint XPLOR H1200 into my workflow, HSS, portability and the long lasting lithium batteries were key factors in my decision to switch from Broncolor to Flashpoint/Godox.

With the release of the 600 PRO earlier this year, I began to add more units, enough to be able to light for any conceivable studio or location requirements. I may use as many as 20 lights for a setup, or just one, but for sure I like to always have a good number of spares available.

On a recent shoot with singer/actress Becky G for the cover of GALORE magazine, and another shoot for VOGUE, I needed to have various set ups ready at once. I used only a single 600 PRO inside a modified BRONCOLOR FLOOTER S for a series of dramatic sky shots in HSS mode, and also a late afternoon pool shot, but I needed 20 units to light a series of colorful, 2000s pop inspired studio shots.
