After the Laowa Argus 33mm f/0.95, on October 25 Venus Optics is about to launch the Laowa CF Argus 25mm f/0.95 lens for Fujifilm X mount.
Now lots of information as well as images have been leaked at the Japanese website asobinet.
The Argus Line-up
Laowa has just launched two lenses:
Relevant for us is the Laowa 65mm T2.9 2X Macro APO Cine, which is available in Fujifilm X mount.
Laowa is teasing a new lens coming on September 6. On their Chinese Weibo account, Venus Optics writes:
On September 6, another new product is coming! At 20:00 p.m. on September 5, the video number [Old Frog Lens] will send new shots live.

Venus Optics has just announced the new Laowa 10mm f/4 rectilinear pancake lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras.

Venus Optics has just announced the new Laowa 10mm f/4 rectilinear pancake lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras.
The first images of the Laowa 10mm f/4 cookie lens by Venus Optics leaked at the Chinese platform weibo. It’s designed for mirrorless APS-C lenses.
Some might desire a faster lens, but keep in mind you’d have to sacrifize its lovely pancake size for that. You can’t have it all I guess.
You can always go for the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D if you desire something faster.
Venus Optics has launched a $40 rebate on the Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO for Fujifilm X mount.
The deal is not available directly at the Venus Optics store.
Back in 2020, Venus Optics announced the original Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D shift lens (blue ring version), which thanks to an adapter worked also on Fujfilm GFX with the ability to shift ± 8mm with no vignetting.
Now Venus Optics announced a new version, the Laowa 15mm f/4.5R Zero-D Shift (red ring version) with 14 aperture blades instead of the 5 aperture blades of its predecessor.
The good news: Laowa is now offering both the Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Shift lenses (the blue ring and the red ring versions) in native Fujifilm G mount, hence no more need to use any adapter.
The Laowa 0.7x focal reducer for one of the weirdest looking lenses ever, the 24mm f/14 2X Macro Probe lens, has been announced.
The options available for Fujifilm X mount are EF-X focal reducer and PL-X focal reducer
