Last-Second Fujifilm Best Sellers – Before Prices Go Up in 2 Days (in USA)

A few days ago, we informed you that Fujifilm will raise prices on almost all X and GFX gear, and we also shared the full list of upcoming prices here.

I’ve now checked on what’s been selling best through FujiRumors affiliate links—and here’s the current top-selling gear, just two days before the price hike takes effect.

If there’s anything you’ve been thinking about getting, now’s the time to grab it at the current lower price.

NOTE: All the price increases listed below apply – obviously – only to the U.S. market. That’s why I’m sharing prices in U.S. dollars only—not in euros, yen, or any other currency. Will other regions see increases too? I don’t know. I have no info so far. My guess (not rumor) is that so far price increases are planed only for USA.

Of course the list is heavily influenced by the disastuous stock situation with Fujifilm gear – availability is tight, and many people are simply snapping up whatever they can still find in stock. For example, I bet that if the X100VI would be available anywhere, it would be on top of the list.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for at the usual retailers like BHphoto or Adorama, be sure to check Amazon as well. Several official Fujifilm dealers also sell through Amazon and may still have stock available.

Updated Price Increase List for Fujifilm Gear Starting August 1

We have now received an updated list of the Fujifilm price increases starting August 1st, which includes the new price for the 11 GF lenses missing in our previous report and also these accessories are added to the list.

NOTE: some stores say they won’t honor the old price for all gear ordered today but shipping after August 1st (we reported here). We don’t have statements of BHphoto & Co in this regard. In any case, it’s best to order now and get it shipped tomorrow, or at least hope your store will honor the current price. If you don’t find it in stock at BHphoto & Co, check out Amazon where many official Fujifilm retailers also sell their gear. You might have better luck there.

Fujifilm Price Increase Confirmed – Unshipped Orders at Old Prices Could Be Canceled August 1st

We previously reported that Fujifilm will raise prices on August 1. Now we have the first confirmation: the U.S. store Capture Integration writes:

Fujifilm will increase all products on August 1st. Importantly, all pre-existing orders will be canceled at the older prices. NO CURRENT orders will be honored at pre-tariff pricing. Price increases range from 7-11%. Most notably…”

FujiFilm GFX100 II up 11%
FujiFilm GFX1000 RF up 10%
FujiFilm GFX100S II up 8%
GF Lenses all up 7-9%

Not mentioned is X series gear, which will go up too.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We don’t yet know if this policy applies only to Capture Integration, or if other retailers like B&H Photo will also refuse to honor current prices for gear ordered now but shipping after August 1.

RECOMMENDATION: See it in stock? Buy it now. If not, order anyway and hope the store honors current pricing. Worst case? They cancel your order.

DON’T LOSE HOPE: If you can’t find gear in stock at B&H or similar stores, check Amazon—many official Fujifilm retailers also sell through Amazon, so you might find items there that are out of stock elsewhere. To see which stores are authorized Fujifilm dealers, check the official Fujifilm USA list here.

List of Fujifilm Price Hikes Revealed – Nearly All X/GFX Gear Affected, But X-E5 Might Be Safe

We told you that Fujifilm will soon increase prices.

We have now additional details (not yet official, so take it as a rumor).

Price increase should start August 1st (same day when the new tariff-wave comes to effect).

Good news: the Fujifilm X-E5 seems to be safe from any price increase (despite our reader getting a notice about the X-E5 price increase). According to first info shared to us by FR-reader readers, this is because the note from Fujifilm came before the trade deal with Japan (thanks).

Bad News: the list might not be complete yet, though, because there are for example only 9 GF lenses on the list, but I suspect all 20 of them will get a price increase of about 10%. So let’s hope the X-E5 is so far not on the list, because no increase is planed.

Please keep in mind that everything below is still a rumor until Fujifilm makes an official announcement. That said, I wouldn’t share this if I weren’t confident that the price increases are indeed coming on August 1.

Hopefully, this gives some of you the chance to save a few bucks by buying your gear before the deadline.

With that said, here are the new prices starting August 1st (roughly about 10% price increase – some more, some less):

X Series Camera Bodies

GFX Series Camera Bodies

X Series Lenses

GF Lenses

NOTE: all GF lenses will likely get a price increase. I just don’t have the details, so I won’t share them below. But if you are interested in other GF lenses, grab them now too, as price will very likely go up also for those.

Fujifilm X-T30 III or X-T40 Coming in 2025 – Let the Specs Speculation Begin

We told you that in 2025 Fujifilm will launch the successor to the Fujifilm X-T30II (which is not the Fujifilm X-T50).

Now all we can do is to speculate about the specs.

If I should bet (this is a speculation, not a rumor), then I’d say that Fujifilm could put the trusted 26MP sensor in the Fujifilm X-T30II successor, maybe in combination with the X Processor 5, just like it is for the Fujifilm X-S20.

Maybe to make it even more affordable, they could give it to us without IBIS using the same body of the X-T30II. But again, that’s just my guess. It could be also the X-T50 body with 26MP sensor. It depends on which price Fujifilm is targeting with the X-T30 II successor.

I’d prefer the X-T50 body over the X-T30II body, not only because of IBIS, but also because I prefer the film simulation dial over the drive dial. And overall I find it more refined and better looking. But let us know in the comments what you prefer.

The name?

Well, I guess it will be called Fujifilm X-T30 III or Fujifilm X-T40.

So, I’ll end my speculations here. But I’d love to read yours in the comments below.

Fujifilm Europe/Canada Deals End Soon… and No Deals in USA Since Months

The deals on Fujifilm X and GFX gear in Europe and Canada are ending. There are deals pretty much all over the world, from the Philippines to Australia and more

There is only one country that has no deals running since a couple of months now: the United States of America. I guess recently it’s not a great time for Fujifilm USA to launch deals… it’s more about figuring out how not to raise prices.

CANADA: Full List of…. (end July 13)

Oops, My Bad! Fujifilm X-E5 Has 3″ LCD (Not 3-Way Tilt) – And More Exclusive X-E5 Images Coming Soon!

The full specs of the Fujifilm X-E5 recently leaked, and as you can imagine, it’s been an intense time—lots of info to process all at once.

Amid this flood of details, I misread one spec that now needs correcting:
The Fujifilm X-E5 will feature a 3″ screen, not a 3-way tilt screen.

I’ve updated the full specs comparison accordingly, and it’s now 100% accurate.

Apologies for the mix-up… turns out I’m human too 😅

But hey—how about I make it up to you by sharing even more exclusive Fujifilm X-E5 images? Would that help smooth things over? ;)

The Curse of the X‑E Line: Can the Fujifilm X‑E5 Break the Spell?

Fujifilm X-E – The Cursed Line

There was a time, when Fujifilm was only offering rangefinder X series cameras.

Well, that’s if you don’t consider this camera here, which I guess we’ll never know why Fujifilm called it an X series camera.

But anyway, rangefinder was Fujifilm’s quiet re-entry in the mid-higher end digital camera market (their previous attempt was this one).

And silently, on tiptoes, Fujifilm carved out its very small niche of truly passionate photographers.

The X-E1 is Born

The Fujifilm X-E1 was definitely one of the best expressions of this understated approach into the mirrorless camera market: no thunders, no specs brags, just beauty and joy encapsulated in a wonderful camera body.

But the Fujifilm X-E1 would become the last X-E camera with a relatively quiet and tranquil life.

Because Fujifilm’s priorities started to shift, their ambitions to grow, and the X-E line started to be on the edge of survival.

X-E2 – The Struggles Begin

Let’s begin our tale of struggles with the Fujifilm X-E2, which btw I owned and destroyed when I had to jump into the Mekong river to avoid getting smashed by the Li Phi waterfalls.

Fujifilm had the brilliant idea to launch the Fujifilm X-E2 just 3 months before they announced the Fujifilm X-T1, which came in the more popular SLR styled package and offered superior specs like weather sealing, UHS-II card slot and the largest EVF on any mirrorless camera.

The X-T1 was Fujifilm’s statement to the photography world: we want to go more mainstream now! And as a consequence it stole the show (and sales) to the X-E2.

The Fujifilm X-E2 was followed by the Fujifilm X-E2S, which is basically an X-E2 with an auto button. So we can ignore that one.

Fujifilm X-E5 with 40MP Sensor – A Good Move? VOTE NOW

We told you that the Fujifilm X-E5 will use the 40MP X-Trans V sensor.

Some rejoiced at this news (such as me), others instead would have preferred the 26MP sensor in combination with the X Processor 5 (like on the X-S20 and X-M5).

I think that for a photography first camera, 40MP is the best pick, whereas for a mid-range hybrid camera (such as the X-S20) 26MP makes more sense.

But let us know what you think by voting the survey down below.

RUMOR: This is the Sensor of the Fujifilm X-E5

→ in short: it’s the same sensor of this Fujifilm camera

One of the big questions I got recently was if the Fujifilm X-E5 will adopt the Fujifilm X-S20 solution (26MP + X Processor 5) or the X-T50 solution (40MP + X Processor 5).

And look, I know this is something I can’t get wrong, so I have waited to have mulitple confirmation from several trusted sources before sharing it.

Well, now I am confident enough to share it….
