Iridient Developer 3.3.6 and X-Transformer 1.5 add Fujifilm X-T30 Support and Major Improvements

Iridient Developer

The Iridient Developer 3.3.6 update has been released with support for the Fujifilm X-T30 and a fix for the baseline exposure of some images shot with D-Range Priority set to Auto on the Fujifilm X-T3 and Fujifilm X-H1.

Iridient Developer 3.3.6 for macOS can now be downloaded here.

Iridient X Transfomer

Iridient X-Transformer 1.5 is now available for macOS and Windows!

This new update can be downloaded from at Iridient web site here.

This release includes:

  • support for the X-T30
  • Major improvements to lossless compression speed especially on high core count systems. The lossless image compression stage is now up to 2-8x faster!
  • Support for lossy DNG compression. Use of lossy compression obviously can potentially have some impact on file quality, but it can also have a pretty radical impact on DNG file size. With this new option the DNG file size can actually be even smaller than the camera JPEGs while while maintaining the terrific DNG/RAW editing flexibility and often producing better final image quality
  • A bug fix for the baseline exposure levels of some images from the X-T3 and X-H1 shot with D-Range Priority set to Auto.

Iridient Developer 3.3.4 and X-Transformer 1.1.1 Updates

The Iridient Developer 3.3.4 and Iridient X-Transformer 1.1.1 updates are now available for download!

These updates fix an issue with the new D RANGE PRIORITY modes found on the X-T3 and X-H1 models. The X-Transformer update also brings the DNG baseline metadata values (color, white balance, exposure, etc) inline with the newest Adobe software values for recent camera models (X-T3, GFX 50R, XF10).

Iridient X-Transformer 1.1.1 for macOS and Windows can now be downloaded here and X-Transformer releases notes are here.

Fujifilm X-Trans Roundup

I am currently owner of Lightroom (standalone), Picktorial, Iridient and Luminar.

I think I will try Capture One next, since it made huge improvements in 2017 and in many ways is superior to Lightroom.

One day I will leave Lightroom completely, and luckily I have plenty of options to choose from.

So just like you, I try different software, watch tutorials, and try to make up my mind on which one will be the best for my life after Lightroom.

And in my search for the perfect software, I like to share the stuff I watch and study with you in dedicated Fujifilm X-Trans roundups.

Let’s start with the roundup.
