Fujifilm X/GFX Deals Extended until January 23 including Huge Rebate GFX50R

Fujifilm has decided to extended the Fujifilm X/GFX deals until January 23. This means you can still save $1,500 on the Fujifilm GFX50R (if it’s not discontinued already).

We remind you that the Fujifilm GFX50R was one of the best sellers back in 2018 here on FujiRumors, actually the first GFX camera to come even close to the top selling X series cameras.

And yet, GFX50R sales still pale compared over what has been achieved by the Fujifilm GFX100S, which was the (by far) best selling camera in 2021 (the data refers to affiliate sales here on FujiRumors).

Of course these days the GFX50R sales struggle also due to the Fujifilm GFX50SII, which adds IBIS and newer processor in an overall more mainstream form factor at lower price than the GFX50R launch price.

And yet, the GFX50R is and remains a lovely camera, and if Fujifilm would have offered a GFX100R along with the GFX100S, I would probably have got the GFX100R, as it comes closer in form and function to another camera series I love, the X-E line.

Fujifilm GFX100S Among Top Rented Gear 2021 at Lensrentals and Top 4 Stills/Hybrid Cameras

Lensrentals has listed their top rented gear for 2021.

There is only one Fujifilm gear in the list, and it’s the Fujifilm GFX100S, which Lensrentals calls their “personal favorite“.

Worth to note is that there are only 4 still (or hybrid) oriented cameras in the list, and the Fujifilm GFX100S is among them. The rest are mostly video cameras and lenses.

A pity only that those, who rented the GFX100S and then maybe wanted to buy it, very likely could not find any sample available, as that beast is mostly unavailable even 11 months after its announcement.

Down below you can find the full lists of top rented gear shared by lensrentals.

Fujifilm GFX: One of 2021 Most Praised Systems Gets a Roundup – GFX100S Adventure Film, GF110/2 vs GF80/1.7, GFX50SII and More

The year is ending, the internet is flooded by “best and worst” articles and videos, and at some point of the ranking the Fujifilm GFX system always comes out on the very top positions.

It happened for example with DPRTV here (who gave tremendous praise to the Fujifilm GFX100S) and with BH Explora here, who ranked both, the GFX100S and the new GFX50SII in the top 10 mirrorless cameras list for 2021.

Now, nobody can predict the future in the long term. So if the GFX system will keep up rising or not remains an open question whose outcome will depend on many things.

But if we look back on how it all started with the GFX system and where the system is now, then we can surely say that Fujifilm has set some solid fundaments on which they could potentially build up something very special.

So, in order to honor the big GFX year that we just had, we celebrate today with a dedicated GFX roundup that you can find below.
