Steelsring Firmware Updates for EF/GFX, EF/FX and C645/GFX Smart AF Adapters

Steelsring has released several firmware updates for their smart AF adapters.

These firmware updates will bring better AF lock accuracy, better lens compatiability and reduce the phenomena of random crashes, recommedded for all customers.

EF/GFX ver. 2.10 – for Windows / for Mac

  5. Support AF/MF switch of EF lens body

Contax645/GFX ver. 1.08 – for Windows / for Mac

EF/FX ver. 2.04 – for Windows / for Mac

  1. Bug fixes
  2. Improve Sigma/EF lens compatiability
  3. Improve AF lock accuracy
  4. Correct aperture display error of several lenses.
  5. Support AF/MF switch of EF lens body

Since the question will arise: Steelsring is working on a Nikon F to Fujifilm GFX smart adapter, and we reported in February about the first beta firmware for beta testers. The lastest firmware available has been released back in March, always for beta testers.

Let’s hope all this testings finds a happy end soon, and the adapter can finally hit the market.
