Pergear Launches Very Affordable CFexpress Type B Cards

CFexpress Type B cards are fast and certainly unlock new feature performance on our gear.

But they are very expensive!

Well, Pergear now tries to fix just that and launched very affordable CFexpress Type B Cards (compared to other brand cards).

Pergear Lite (64GB/128GB):
Read:300MB/s, Write:80MB/s, fit for photo and low bit rate video capture (2K, 1080P)

Pergear Pro (256GB/512GB):
Read:1200MB/s, Write:360MB/s, support continuous mode photography and video (4K120P, 8K30P)

Pergear Ultra (1T/2T):
Read:1600MB/s, Write:1300MB/s, highest capacity available for large file production, highest bit-rate video recording and continuous mode

We remind you that Fujifilm has a list of officially recommended CFexpress Type B cards. I am not aware if Fujifilm did test Pergear cards so far.

So at least until Fujifilm recommends also the Pergear cards, I would stick with the officially recommended ones, unless you don’t plan to shoot high quality 6K or 8K video and you don’t need the longest bursts possible. In that case, also the Pergear might to do the job just fine.
