Now it’s confirmed… just as we rumored months ago, the Fujifilm  X-T100 will have a new 3 way tilt screen.

The question is, do you want this tilt screen also on the Fujifilm X-T3? You have answered here, and I must say I am surprised.

Nokishita also leaked more X-T100 images that you can find below as well the the price in Yen.

Mass retailer price (tax included): Body 80,460 yen [converted $734], lens kit 94,500 yen [converted $862], double zoom kit 107,460 yen [converted $980]

At Amazon Japan, the Fujifilm X-T20 body costs 81,611 yen ($744) while at yodobashi it costs 91,440 yen ($834)

As we already rumored weeks ago, the Fujifilm X-T100 will be announced tomorrow, May 24. Shipping will start on June 21.

Nokishita and Digicame-info just leaked additional images of the Fujifilm X-T100. This time you can see it from the top, back and front.

Also, please notice that the “newly designed 3 way tilt screen” seems indeed to be a selfie screen, like we rumored already over a month ago.

UPDATE: Additional X-T100 leaked images show top, front and backside of the camera.

We know already a lot about the Fujifilm X-T100, since Fujifilm EU leaked the entire X-T100 product page last week.

Now nokishita leaked the first image of the X-T100. On their Twitter page they write:

“We confirmed that Fujifilm X-t100 will be available in Japan this week. The color is black, dark silver and champagne gold as well as overseas. Kit is a body lens kit double Zoom kit.”

We see no front dial and no grip at all.

Fujifilm X-T100 – Do We Need It?

Earlier today the full specs of the Fujifilm X-T100 leaked at FujifilmEU… and they confirm all the rumors that we have shared since we started the X-T100 rumor marathon in September 2017:

According to rumors shared exclusively for you here on FujiRumors, the announcement is set for May 24.

Now the question is: does the Fujifilm X-T100 makes sense to you?

Fuji’s idea is clear: the Fujifilm X-T100 will close the gap between the EVF-less Fujifilm X-A5 and Fuji’s mid-range X-Trans Fujifilm X-T20 and compete with cameras like the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II and the Sony A6000

Since it has an EVF (first APS-C Bayer X-series camera to have it), it could potentially attract those enthusiast photographers, who are attracted by the X-system, but are scared by the fake myths surrounding the X-Trans sensor (personally I am an X-Trans fan).

I think that most of you guys reading this blog, won’t care much about the Fujifilm X-T100. But just like the X-A5, I think also the X-T100 could find a huge fellowship. To me, it is a good move by Fujifilm, although personally I’d go for the X-T20 over the X-T100.

But no matter if the X-T100 is interesting or not, I will be sleepless and work restlessly on the live blogging on May 24.

All the specs we rumored are confirmed.

So within May 26, we will get a new Fuji gear… but what?

Here on FujiRumors we have rumored the core specs of the Fujifilm X-T3, we talked a lot about the Fujifilm GFX 50R, we even looked far ahead to the Fujifilm GFX 100S, but the most rumored camera at the moment (and hence probably the closest to come) is the Fujifilm X-T100… so let’s talk about it :).

Soon Fujifilm will also launch the Instax SQ6, which has already completely leaked here.

Here on FujiRumors we shared the first real life images already back in March 17, 2017 here, so well over a year ago.

The Instax SQ6 is basically the film-only version of the hybrid Instax Square SQ10 and it will take the Instax Square Film.

Surprises?

Of course there could be surprises. Maybe some lenses, such as the XF8-16mmF2.8? Or the XF200mmF2? For sure the X70 successor will NOT come in May.

Hey all…

So you really missed it? I just had birthday!!!

But don’t worry… I am so busy at the moment, I almost forgot that I have birthday by myself, seriously.

Luckily a source didn’t forget it, and decided to make me… and hence all of you.. a little rumor-birthday present :).

It’s about the Fujifilm X-T100.

When we first shared the first Fujifilm X-T100 rumor back in September 2017 (!!!) we told you that this will be a camera that will cost less than the Fujifilm X-T20.

A few days later, we were told it will have a Bayer sensor, hence joining the X-A series as Fujifilm’s so far only Bayer sensor cameras.

Well, this morning I had a chat with a source, and it passed me two more rumors about the Fujifilm X-T100

  • 24 Megapixel Bayer sensor
  • Selfie Screen

If true, then this would be Fuji’s first DSLR-style camera (centered viewfinder with hump), to have a selfie screen.

Unlike the Fujifilm X70 and X-A cameras, the screen won’t tilt upwards, since there is the viewfinder in the way. The source could not give me further details (it does not know if it tilts down or out on the side), but it is sure the screen is “Selfie-fit”.

Of course I asked further details, but the source does not know more at this moment. However, I submitted a bunch of questions, and it told me it will try to find out more about it, if possible. If you have questions too, drop them in the comments… the source will read them and eventually add them to my list of questions.

Fujifilm X-T100 Will Have a Viewfinder

Hey guys, here is an update regarding the Fujifilm X-T100.

The Fujifilm X-T100 will have a viewfinder.

I know many of you are sceptical about this camera, but I think it makes a whole lot of sense.

Fujifilm needs a cheap 24MP camera with viewfinder to compete against the Sony A6000 & Co. I mean, price matters, and this is why the Sony A6000 is often the Nr.1 best seller at the AmazonUS MILC ranking.

The Fujifilm X-T100 could be, for many, the perfect “starter drug” into the X-system. And the more people buy entry-level Fuji, the more Fuji has chances that they will upgrade camera/lenses at some point, and invest more money into the Fuji X System.

Fujifilm X-T100 Currently Planned with Bayer Sensor

Last week I told you here that Fujifilm is right now working on the Fujifilm X-T100.

I don’t have much details, and the camera might be still in a relatively early development stage. So take everything with a grain of salt, because you know how Fujifilm can change (or scrap) just everything at every moment.

With that said, here is an update regarding the Fujifilm X-T100… it should have a Bayer sensor.

So Fuji’s APS-C MILC line could look like this in future:

Fujifilm Rangefinder Style:
Fujifilm X-A line (Bayer) – entry level
Fujfilm X-E line (X-Trans) – mid range
Fujfilm X-Pro line (X-Trans) – high end
