Nokishita does not say for which camera it is, but in combination with today’s rumor about the improved battery performance on the X-T3, the BC-W126S could indeed be the better battery for the Fujifilm X-T3.
If our assumption is correct, then the fact that it is called still “W126S” could mean that the Fujifilm X-T3 will still be compatible with the NP-W126S batteries. However, it could also be a bigger battery. I will verify it now.

Fujifilm just launched the Fujifilm X-T100, which has a new 3 way tilt screen.
After having seen how the new tilt screen works, a number of FR-readers asked me to launch again the “X-T3 tilt screen survey“… and since you guys are my only boss, I will do as you desire ;) .
So how does the new X-T100 Selfie-Tilt Screen work?
Fujifilm’s “selfie-solution” tilts up and down with the screen perfectly centered to the camera (just like on the X-T2 & Co). In addition to that, you can also tilt it forward for selfies and still tilt the LCD up and down.
Some say this solutions combines the best of both worlds.
Having finally seen how it really works, I think it’s a far call by you guys to ask me to re-launch our Fujifilm X-T3 “selfie screen” poll.
And since we are in survey-mood, I decided to launch a few more additional survey, always regarding the X-T3, which you are free to participate and vote.
FujiRumors has already rumored in January 2018 that the Fujifilm X-T3 will not have IBIS, but just for curiosity I launch the poll again (after the first X-T3 IBIS Dealbreaker Survey here), because I’d like to know if you would have liked to sacrifice the smaller size of X-T3 over the X-H1 in order to get IBIS.
Now it’s confirmed… just as we rumored months ago, the Fujifilm X-T100 will have a new 3 way tilt screen.
The question is, do you want this tilt screen also on the Fujifilm X-T3? You have answered here, and I must say I am surprised.

As we already rumored weeks ago, the Fujifilm X-T100 will be announced tomorrow, May 24. Shipping will start on June 21.
But don’t worry… I am so busy at the moment, I almost forgot that I have birthday by myself, seriously.
Luckily a source didn’t forget it, and decided to make me… and hence all of you.. a little rumor-birthday present :).
It’s about the Fujifilm X-T100.
When we first shared the first Fujifilm X-T100 rumor back in September 2017 (!!!) we told you that this will be a camera that will cost less than the Fujifilm X-T20.
A few days later, we were told it will have a Bayer sensor, hence joining the X-A series as Fujifilm’s so far only Bayer sensor cameras.
Well, this morning I had a chat with a source, and it passed me two more rumors about the Fujifilm X-T100

Selfie Screen
If true, then this would be Fuji’s first DSLR-style camera (centered viewfinder with hump), to have a selfie screen.
Unlike the Fujifilm X70 and X-A cameras, the screen won’t tilt upwards, since there is the viewfinder in the way. The source could not give me further details (it does not know if it tilts down or out on the side), but it is sure the screen is “Selfie-fit”.
Of course I asked further details, but the source does not know more at this moment. However, I submitted a bunch of questions, and it told me it will try to find out more about it, if possible. If you have questions too, drop them in the comments… the source will read them and eventually add them to my list of questions.

According to our sources, the Fujifilm X-T3 will have a 26 Megapixel sensor, which confrims the “less than 30MP” rumor we shared a few months ago.
One more detail: at this stage we think it will most likely have the same stacked sensor technology of the Sony A9, but take it with a grain of salt for now. I share an update for you guys as soon as possible.

What is a “stacked sensor”?
The stacked sensor allows a super-fast sensor readout and hence extremely fast AF measurments, blackout-less EVF almost no rolling shutter and more.
If the rumor is correct, then there will be 3 main aspects, that will make the Fujifilm X-T3 a speed monster:
stacked sensor (allows fast sensor readout)
“only” 26MP (not excessively many megapixel means less data to elaborate for the processor)
new X-Processor
Keep in mind that, as we also already told you, the Fujifilm X-T3 will not have IBIS and be announced around photokina 2018 (September)

Do you like Full Frame? Do you prefer APS-C? Is X-Trans your thing or do you want a Bayer sensor? Or maybe you always dreamed of a monochrome sensor?
Don’t worry, to get all of this, you will need just one camera, the Fujifilm X-T3.
Our top trusted Japanese source just told us that the Fujifilm X-T3 will have an interchangeable lens/processor/sensor.
The concept is similar to the one used by the Ricoh GXR/S10, where basically lens, sensor and processor will be integrated into 1 single unit, that you can switch how you prefer.
Along with the Fujifilm X-T3, Fujifilm will also launch the first two Full Frame lenses:
XFF 35mm F1.8
XFF 70-200mm F2.8
I asked our Japanese source if it will have also the option of a Medium Format sensor, but the source said MF sensor would make the Fujifilm X-T3 chassis too big, and Fujifilm wants to keep it smaller than the X-H1.
Fuji’s idea is to offer a Fujifilm X-T3, where you guys can still perfectly use all your current APS-C lenses, but if you want, you can slowly transition to full frame and finally spend more money on bigger FF glass.
The source also told us, that the new system is the real reason, why the Fujifilm X-T3 will not have IBIS: it is just technically too complicated at the moment to make an interchangeable sensor system with IBIS incorporated.
The price of the Fujifilm X-T3 will be “extremely agressive” said the source and “lower than current X-T2 price“.

Fujifilm GFX 100S
The source also told us that the Fujifilm GFX 100S will also have a completely interchangeable sensor/processor unit, and in this case Fujifilm will offer a monochrome medium format sensor as well as an APS-C X-Trans sensor, so that people, upgrading from APS-C to Medium Format, will be able to use all their Fujinon XF glass on the GFX 100S without needing any adapter
No Full Frame sensor will be offered for the Fujifilm GFX 100S.
On the other hand, the Fujifilm GFX 50R will remain with a fixed MF sensor. The goal of this camera is to make it as cheap as possible.
Today I’d like to share with you guys 2 interviews that Fujifilm managers gave to the Spanish site albedomedia and the French site focus-numerique. Both are focused on the Fujifilm X-H1, but not only.
Let’s start with the one in my favorite language, Spanish, and the interview at albedomedia:
X-H1 size: The truth is that the ‘feedback’ we obtained from users is that they wanted a larger camera, especially a ‘grip’ of larger dimensions to improve its operation,
IBIS in Smaller Bodies: [The Fujifilm X-H1] could not be made smaller either, due to the system of stabilization in the body -IBIS- , which needed a more contundent mechanical structure

I agree that Sony has a better marketing strategy than Fujifilm, and I am happy to hear that it is technically possible for Fujifilm to implement the sensor shift multi shot feature on the Fujifilm X-H1 X-Trans camera. It’s a feature that honestly will be very rarely used (if ever), but one of those things that you better have than not… just in case.
They also basically confirm our rumor, that the Fujifilm X-T3 won’t have a much increased pixel number. We reported that the new X-Trans sensor will still below 30MP.
Advantages of X-H1 over GH5, GH5s and Sony A7S II: most important advantage is in the quality of color reproduction. We have integrated into the X-H1 the new Eterna film simulation which is particularly adapted to obtain a cinematic aesthetic
Sensitive Shutter Button: opinions about trigger sensitivity were mixed. We decided to keep our initial choices, but we intend to offer our users the opportunity to contact Fujifilm after-sales service to rectify the sensitivity of the trigger if they wish
Autofocus compared ot DSLR: We believe that sooner or later we will catch up with the few delays we still have in the world of SLRs
Mirrorless Future: We also believe that from 2019, more than 50% of cameras sold worldwide will be hybrids.
I am pretty sure that Fujifilm plans to close the gap in AF speed with DSLR already with the Fujifilm X-T3, which will have a more powerful processor and a new sensor with lenss than 30MP. Keeping the megapixel still below 30 megapixel will allow the new processor to calculate the data faster.
Regarding the Fujifilm X-H1, if I understood the google translation correctly, Fujifilm offers a service, where you can change the sensitivtiy of the shutter button if you wish.

Fujifilm Manager Mr. Udono had a live stream with Thai youtube channel กล้องกล้วยกล้วย. It’s a one hour talk, with questions made in Thai and English answers of the manager. But don’t worry, I listened it all for you, and I’ll make summary for you guys…. you’re welcome ;)
The focus is on the Fujifilm X-H1, of course. You will find a more detailed list of statements at the bottom of this article.
For the start I will focus on some of his answers, that are more related to questions he got about the future of Fujifilm.
Full Frame Interchangeable Lens System As usual Fujifilm categorically excludes an interchageable lens system with full frame sensor. He says “No plans for FF. We have high quality APS-C sensor and Medium Format“
Full Frame X100F Successor I know that a wide spread specualtion is that the Fujifilm X100F successor might get a full frame sensor, and it could make sense, since Fujifilm would not have to build up a complete new line of lenses, but also here, Mr. Udono seems to indicate that this won’t happen. He says:
“The most important is design and size. With full frame, the camera and lens will become bigger. Compactness is important factor of X100 line.We don’t want to miss such important point“
So, if you ever hoped for a full frame X100… these words don’t really make much hope for that.
On the other hand, the Full Frame Sony RX1RII is actually very compact, and comparing it at camerasize. But compared to the Fujifilm X100F, the RX1 has no hybrid viewfinder, which for sure needs its space too in the camera body.
Medium Format Fixed Lens Camera The manager does not seem convinced by this idea. A fixed lens camera seems to make sense to him, if it is compact. A fixed lens MF camera would be much bigger than X100F.
Future APS-C Sensor Megapixel Will Fujifilm offer APS-C sensors with more megapixel than the the current 24MP? The manager answers:
“We have to think at balance between image quality and speed. More pixel take longer time to process. 24MP is already enough. If we have opportunity to increase we will, but we have to think at speed and image quality. For high megapixel images we have Fujifilm GFX 50S.”
IBIS Future Just like Fuji Guy Billy in the TCSTV live stream here, also Mr. Udono confirms that the IBIS mechanism is currently quite big, hence it does not fit into smaller bodies. His words:
“in order to keep IQ, at the moment Fujifilm needs bigger IBIS unit“
Product Planing – How Long does it Take to make a Camera / Lens? Mr Udono starts saying that they care of customer feedback when they design new products:
“We listen to customers and photographers. X-H1 we listened to photographers voice and added functions on top of X-T2. Especially for top end cameras we have lots of discussions with photographers. Direct comunication with customers, also via dedicated Fujifilm showrooms”
Then he shares more details about how long exactly it takes to develop and then launch a camera and lens to the market:
“Once we have a fix idea, it takes 1 year to make the camera. But before it takes another year of discussions. So 2 years in total. In case of lens development we need more time.”
And more:
4:2:2 and 10bit: Limitation of processor. We tried to have more specifications, but at the moment it’s difficult
MK lenses: Cover 70/80% of film needs. For web-users who shoot video. Not for cinema or TV
ETERNA: If lots of request, Eterna might come to other X series cameras
Size: small and lightweight is still top key factor for mirrorless, also in future
Fujifilm X-T2 next firmware update: We will think of upgrading it
XF200mF2: coming later this year
Touch Screen: more functions and improvements possible
Articulating screen: The mechanical parts requested to make articulating screen would make the camera bigger
