Latest Fuji Financial Report says: “Strong sales for Fujifilm X-T10!”

Share

The latest Fuji financial report shows one more time, that it’s still the Fuji Instax world that keeps pushing Fuji’s imaging division into profits. Instax sells even better than expected, which is why “the targeted sales volume of instax for this FY has been raised from 4.6 million units to 5.0 million units.”

And what about the electronic imaging business (all kind of digital cameras & lenses)?

Overall the sales in the electronic imaging business decreaseddue to a decrease in the sales volume with the shift to high-end models […] in the optical device field, the overall sales decreased, due to weak sales of camera modules for use in smartphones

The report says the X-series sells strong, and a special mention goes to the Fujifilm X-T10.

The sales of premium digital cameras X-Series centering on the interchangeable lens camera,  FUJIFILM X-T10, launched in June 2015, were strong. FUJIFILM X-T10 can realize outstanding image quality and comfortable operability with a compact and  lightweight body.”

Good to know that I’m not the only one, who suddenly felt an unexpected attraction to the Fuji X-T10.

Mark This Date: Here is the Fujifilm X-Pro2 ANNOUNCEMENT DATE… just for you, fellow FujiRumors readers :-) !

Product: [shoplink 39509 ebay]Kenko PL Finder for Rangefinders and SLR cameras[/shoplink]

Do you know some other interesting / weird accessory for your X-camera? Then share it here :)

_ _ _

I tell you… this comes from trusted source, and therefore you better mark this date in your calendar.

However, before sharing, one important note: don’t take it as a 100% fact … I hear you saying: “Why? It comes from trusted source!” That’s right. But….

… but trusted or not, there is always a little risk to share the precise launch date several months before the official announcement. In fact, Fuji can change the date anytime for several reasons.

And believe me, if there is one thing I hate even more than posting a wrong rumor, then it’s posting a correct rumor at the time of sharing, but that turns out to be wrong, just because Fuji changed plans later on (damn you, Fuji X-Pro1S!!!).

That’s the risk of sharing early rumors, but what rumor site would FujiRumors be, if I wouldn’t take some risks for you ;) .

Ok, let’s move on.

I’ve noticed that since yesterday some fake rumors about the X-Pro2 announcement (& more) are circulating on the web, immediately debunked by the trusted Japanese source. According to the source, there won’t be any X-Pro2 at the CES in Las Vegas.

And today’s rumor is also brought to you by trusted source (thanks a lot!), who confirms: the trusted Japanese source is spot on. No X-Pro2 announcement at CES [6th to 9th January] but later. Fuji has set the announcement date to mid-January… more precisely, the 15th of January!

I don’t know you, but I’ve marked this date on my calendar. Of course I’ll let you know if there will be any changes, but I’m very optimistic that Fuji will keep this date.

Oh, and btw, isn’t Fuji launching a Big 5 years X-celebration Party at their HQ in… guess when… Mid-January? Sure, it doesn’t mean anything, it’s not a proof… we all know that coincidence exists ;-) !

NOTE: I’m still working to find out exactly when it will hit the market. Knowing Fujifilm, probably right in time for spring… 2017… just kidding ;)

there is still a lot to discover about the Fujifilm X-Pro2… so stay tuned in FujiRumors

Do you need something from Trusted Source? Then here it is:

If you’ll fly to the CES in Las Vegas from 6th to 9th January in the hope to see the X-Pro2, you’ll be highly disappointed

In fact, when asked, if the Fujifilm X-Pro2 will show up at CES, the Top-Trusted Japanese Source said

No, not at CES. Later

And for me, everything the Top Trusted Japanese source says, is like written in stone.

5 years X-series Celebration! Big Fuji Photo Contest until Nov. 30. Winner announcement + Exhibition in mid-January

Share

 photo ajsdb_zps7affkft9.png

The X series line-up began in March 2011 with the introduction of the Fuji X100. Now Fujifim decided to celebrate the 5 years X-series anniversary with a worldwide contest, launched via fujifilm-x.com. Join the contest by submitting your photo, and you might be on of the lucky 100 winners, whose picture will be also displayed at the big Fuji photo exhibition in January 2016 at the Fuji Headquarter… and winner of a prize worth $300!

Fujifilm will be hosting a photo exhibition at their Headquarters in Tokyo to showcase the passionate and creative photography works of 100 renowned professional “X-Photographers” along with 100 professional or enthusiast “X-Users”.

Fujifilm invites X series users from around the globe to join the celebration and take part in the contest by submitting their favorite photo taken on an X series camera for entry.

A total of 100 photos will be selected by a judging panel of professional photographers, printed by Fujifilm experts and then displayed at the photo exhibition in January, 2016

I really really really really would love to be there to see the exhibition, but even if I could fly to Tokyo, I doubt anyone of the Fuji Guys would be happy to see me at their Headquarters.

So I’ll stay here at the FujiRumors headquarter, a rented 65 square meter apartment, hoping to be able to make my own party… by … who knows, maybe pre-ordering the Fujifilm X-Pro2 ;) .

good luck to all of you,
