Back in February 2017, I told you that the Fujifilm X70 will be replaced by the X80 within the end of 2017.

But I have an update for you today…. Fujifilm decided to postpone the launch of the Fujifilm X80 to 2018.

I don’t have any details, and now I’m merely speculating, but to me it looks like Fujifilm is preparing one of their mega-announcements in 2018, with multiple gear to be announced all at the same time.

Fujifilm has also an announcement on October 25, but it should be minor and mainly about Instax.

There is a long list of celebrities shooting Fujifilm, and now we can add another one: Ron Howard.

Ron Howard is currently working on the new Star Wars Movie “Solo: a Star Wars Story“, and he just posted am image on Instagram, where you can see how he rocks the Fujifilm X100F. Feel free to give him a warm welcome to the X side of life the Force over at his instagram here.

It’s nothing new, that Hollywood loves Fujifilm cameras. Ron Howard shoots the X100F. The official photos of the recent “Dunkirk” blockbuster had been taken with an X-Pro2 with XF18-135, the X100S was the travel camera of Hector, in the Movie ““Hector’s Search for Happiness” (which I saw in the airplane, when flying back from Cambodia) and the Fuji X-Pro1 was used in the Movie “The Neon Demon” by Nicolas Winding Refn. Another movie using Fujifilm X-T2 is Den of Thieves. X-series cameras are also used in TV series like Parenthood TV, The Last Ship and by lots of celebrities.

Fujifilm Announces Instax Square SQ10 White Version

Just as rumored, Fujifilm announced the Instax Square SQ10 in white.

Pre-order start today and will soon be available at AmazonUS, BHphoto and Adorama. To be released November 17.

I remind you that according to our sources, the Instax Share SP-3 Square Printer will be announced October 25.

INSANE DEAL: How to Save Up to $1,550 at BHphoto on Fujifilm GFX + Lenses… instead of “only” $1,000

The official Fujifilm deals officially allow you to save up to $1,000 on the Fujifilm GFX + lens combination. For example, the Fujifilm GFX + GF110 is officially sold for $8,299 ($1,000 rebate).

But thanks to FR-reader Bobby, we now know how to save even more :)

First, add the GFX body only to your cart. Then go to your cart and click on “savings available”.

You will then see the full list of lenses you can add to the Fujifilm GFX (screenshot at the top of this article).

Select the lens you want to add. In my case, I added the Fujinon GF 110mmF2.

As you can see, once I added the GF 110mm, the final price for GFX body + lens is of $7,749 (see screenshot below) instead of $8,299. This means I save $1,550 instead of the offical $1,000.

I’ve tried with the other lenses, such as the GF23 and GF120, and it works there, too :)
