You might remember, how a trusted source told us here, that the X-E3 will have some new technologies on the X-E3 that all other X-series cameras don’t have.
The Fujifilm X-E3 will have a new touch screen. It will be fixed (not tilting) but have some touch functions and possibilities never seen in any other X-series cameras.
Are you excited about the X-E3?
Well, then stay tuned on Fujirumors… I promise you we will have some really fun days, until the launch of the X-E3 and more on September 7 :)
*** Fujifilm X-E3: No D-Pad, No Shutter/ISO Dial, No Pop-Up Flash, No IBIS… & MORE SPECS – Read Here ***
Ok folks, time for a specs update on the Fujifilm X-E3
We already leaked the images of the Fujifilm X-E3 a few weeks ago. However, the images were very low resolution, so not everything was clear to see… and we started to make our speculations.
Now it’s time to confirm (or not) what we saw (or thought to see) in the low resolution images.
No pop-up flash (Confirms what all of us thought to see in the low-res leaked images)
Full auto switch (Confirms what we some of us thought to see in the low-res leaked images)
No shutter/ISO combo dial (Does not confirm what many of us – but not all – thought to see in the low-res leaked images)
So it seems that those of you, who said the leaked X-E3 image is too low resolution to judge if that’s really a shutter/ISO combo dial, were right. I guess I was just hoping for it too much, and my desire brought me to see what was not really there.
Oh yes, that’s an outing! In fact I belong to the Schultzology-sect, a small group of people, who follow the word of Palle Schultz (see his video here) and actually like the combined Shutter/ISO dial. :)
I will be ready, sleepless and high on caffeine, to deliver you guys, as usual, the best, fastest and most comprehensive live blogging on the web. Stay tuned on Facebook, RSS-feed andTwitter.

Just yesterday we reported about the rumored improved AF-tracking of the upcoming Fujifilm X-E3.
Some people thought that this could mean there will be some hardware improvements over the X-T2 (faster processor, new sensor etc).
Well, instead of replying to everyone in the comments and on Facebook and Twitter, I think it’s better to say it in a dedicated article: the AF-tracking improvement will be software related only, and Fujifilm will deliver a nice firmware update to bring it to other X-series cameras, too.
So guys, the big Fujifilm Party on September 7 is coming… and I’m ready for an epiclive blogging.
The Fujifilm X-T2 autofocus is fast. I mean really fast.
It is so fast, that even the godfather of the Sony A7 series, Sony Manager Kimio Maki, confirmed in an interview, that the fast focussing Fujifilm X-T2 is a threat for Sony A7 series and that Sony does not have this weapon right now. [NOTE: a weapon, that finally came with the Sony A9]
And the X-T2 AF-tracking is also vastly improved compared to everything else we have seen before in the Fuji world.
I don’t own the X-T2, but I saw it in action last year, when I joined the Fuji X Photowalk after a very busy day at Photokina. The organizer of the photowalk, wedding photographer Jörg Kampers, had the X-T2 with the XF 56mmF1.2 and tracked a runner on the street using the 56 wide open at F1.2. And when we reviewed the images… bang… the X-T2 nailed every single shot!
But somehow it will get even better… :-)
I hear, that the Fujifilm X-E3 will have an improved AF-tracking. And I mean improved not compared to the X-E2, but compared to the X-T2!
Sounds good?
Well, then stay tuned on FujiRumors via Facebook, RSS-feed and Twitter… we are going to have a good time soon :)
In the comments and at our facebook page, there was some confusion. People thought FR has said the X-E3 will have IBIS. Well, although I actually realize that no source explicitly told me that it will NOT have IBIS, I feel quite confident to say that the X-E3 won’t have IBIS. So, although not rumored by FR-sources, I say….
no IBIS
I guess all the confusion comes from the following rumors
