GFX Trade In Deal

Yesterday, Fujifilm launched some Fujifilm GFX 50s trade in deals. There was quite some confusion, because it seemed like you’d get a total of $650 discount on GFX, if you trade even super expensive cameras you can sell for much more on eBay.

However, usually it works like this (also here in EU). As FR-reader Unknown Alien said: “the $650 is a bonus rebate if you trade in the camera at a local shop or any authorized dealer plus the trade in value of the gear“.

Now that deal makes sense :)

Fujifilm X-T1 Running Out of Stock… forever :(

First GFX deal

Fuji US launched a brand new trade-in program. You get up to $650 for your system camera (DSLR or Mirrorless). Get the GFX now at BHphoto, Adorama, AmazonUS

I’m not sure if you will get only a $650 rebate if you trade in your camera (which would not be a good deal, since you will get more if you sell it on ebay), or maybe it’s $650 on top of what the dealer offers for the camera (which would make it an awesome deal)

Last week Fujifilm launched new Fujifilm X-deals. The savings are terrific especially on the X-T1 combos

For example, buy the $500 discounted X-T1, and get a free XF 35mmF2. You’ll pay a total of $799 only! Check it out.

And I wonder if anyone tried to order from Europe, since the deal would be great also for them. The only potential problem I hear, could be the fact that BHpoto does not ship gear containing lithium batteries.

Some FR-readers suggested to use FedEx or UPS for shipping, and it would work this way.

Others said to order at AmazonUS, such as Timo:

“I just ordered a Fuji X-E2S on AmazonUS. At that price, it’s a steal. Now, I’m from Germany and the total price for the X-E2S body including shipping and import fees is $604,60 (~525€), which is still way cheaper than any offer I can find in Europe.”

But I didn’t order by myself and can’t verify it… so more feedback in the comments would be welcome.
