And Fuji’s lenses don’t have distance scale either. They’re really one made to be AF, as the MF sucks and they know it. Wonder how these Zeiss’s manual focuses though.

Good to see they’ve kept the aperture dial on the lens. Will have to see if the RAWs improve tho, to decide to buy into the system or not.

I suppose the 12mm will have the aperture dial as well but only on X-mount ?

32mm f/1.8 = A slower, more expensive version of what we already have. Unless the motor in this lens causes it to to have rocket like AF, this is a total waste.

50mm f/2.8 = Don’t even get me started. Same as above. I’ll wait for Fuji’s lenses with a MAYBE on the 12mm as a stop gap.

What about to ask Zeiss to adapt the f:1,8/24mm originally made in E-mount for the X mount ? Just to put a 0,3mm longer tube, and that’s it !
May be Sony would scare to see better results with this lens on a XE-1 than on a Nex-7…
