I’d like to introduce you to today’s X-shooter facebook zone (featuring the most liked images you shared on facebook), with the words of Sony photographer Christopher.

Christopher said in the comments to this X-shooter post here:

“I’m surprised that posts like these don’t get more comments, because these posts are such an inspiration to me. I’m not a Fuji shooter (and I can’t afford to switch systems), but I check this site every day just to see what people are doing with their X cameras. These X-shooter Zone posts are often the highlight of my internet week, because I am constantly impressed by what the Fuji community is doing photographically.

I know that what I’m seeing has more to do than just what a certain camera can do–these photographers would be skilled with whatever system they’re using. Yet for some reason, be it the style of photography that seems to attract X shooters or something else, the amount of high-quality and interesting photography that your community produces astounds me.

I’m a Sony shooter myself, and I love my camera and my workflow, but (and I know this shouldn’t bother me), I feel that I have no kindred spirits in the Sony world–I’ve yet to come across the work of another Sony photographer that speaks to me like the work of so many of these Fuji photographers. Maybe it’s just that SAR and the other E-mount forums aren’t highlighting the right work, or maybe it really is the camera’s potential or some other reason, but I feel compelled to acknowledge that as a lover of photography regardless of brand names, these X shooter posts have really helped to shape my photographic vision (even though I don’t own a Fuji camera).

I understand the love of photography your cameras instill, and I just want to say thank you. Maybe I’ll be one of you someday, and maybe not, but Fuji must be doing something right to attract so many talented artists. Keep up the good work and I’m sure that many more people than are represented in the comments here appreciate your work!”

There is nothing to add to these wonderful words… well, just the images ;-)

enjoy, and let’s take some awesome shots today,
