Yeah, would basically be the same. For Fuji an interchangeable mount means at least the chance of selling more than one lens. So maybe fixed isn´t that attractive for them anymore. At least at sub Sony RX1 pricetags ;)

Still, is there any news on the x100´s future? Do newer builds still have that sticky blades problem?
I really like the idea of a fixed 35mm (equivalent) lens, carry-all-day camera and the X100 almost had me sold - because I was hoping for a X200 at Photokina.
The X100 won´t suddenly make worse images as before "the new guns" had arrived, but in digital days, who want´s to buy "old" hardware...;)
So, any news?

Right, Lucas. And it shoots like an X-Pro1. Pale? No, not really. I am interested in this little camera as a backup to my X-Pro1.

X-E1 is half the price and half the weight of the D600. And with a comparable lens it's still half the price of the RX1. Not that pale I would say

Good on Fuji and good on the spokesperson.

But in the future Fuji must get things right out the box. Updates are good but the word on the X-pro1 spread like wild fire and to me if they released the X pro1 now including its goodness then they wouldn't have to work on the imminent X-pro2 which will be arriving soon. So they are paying for that.

I have to say I am looking forward to the X-pro2 but stress it must include the 6 axis gyroscopic image stabilisation that the OMD has. If it doesn't im buying the X-E1 as a cheap and powerful camera rather then an expensive camera body lacking quality features.

I would like wi-fi on the camera too. eye-fi is all well and good but if the Sony NEX6 can do it then so should the X-pro2.

but im seriously tempted but the X-E1. hope its £800 max body only.
