XF1 really haven’t copied this…
You guys shoulds not forget that the main differences are viewfinder and lens – there wasn’t any consumer zoom lens in the 60′s. So the similar cone-shaped lens is simply a matter of coincidence. And there were tons of silver metal + leather finished cameras these days.
The design od XF1 is definitely retro-styled, similar to this Werra, but no way it is a copy of this.

The XF-1 is not really a copy of the Werra. The Werra’s lens doesn’t collapse, the ring around the lens is the film wind on.

My first camera, when I was 21 in the 1960s. Not the cool olive though. Used that camera for years, no light meter, and lost more shots to forgetting to focus than to wrong exposure! Made by Carl Zeiss of Jena, with a nice Tessar f/2.8 lens. Full frame as well (;-)!

Made in the former East Germany. In the 60′s if I remember correctly.
