as an alternative version of the X-Pro 1 replace the viewfinder with a rangefinder and make rf coupled manual focus versions of the existing lenses and I’m ready to buy this wonderful camera (and I think I wouldn’t be alone).

11 months ago |Of course the key question that is not answered for the 18-55 mm lens is whether or not it will function with the OVF. One of the reasons that many, like myself, have bought the x-pro1 is the OVF. If this lens does not activate a new sliding frame in the OVF,which corresponds to the varying zoom positions of the lens, it will be disappointing to users like myself, who find the EVF and the LCD display to be virtually unusable in outdoors bright light.
