Fuji X-E1 may ship one month earlier than expected!

If you followed the Fuji X-E1 press release than you know that the camera should start to be shipped in November. But our reader Henry just got an email from Amazon (screenshot on top) saying that the camera will already ship in October. That would be a nice surprise of true!

  • Why to order a camera in rush with no reviews, tests etc? On the paper it looks OK for probably most of us but in reality it may inherit so many bugs and issues from the older siblings. To avoid the risk and disapointment I would wait a bit until we really know what we buy.

    • Why? Because you can easily return it again if you don’t like it.

  • The order number is still visible please delete it

  • Now, we have Sony RX-1 coming with full frame CMOS sensor, I don’t want this one anymore….full frame is the only way to go.

  • fixed lens at 3000 dollars. I think one can truly leave that camera where it belongs in sonys dreams.

  • Wow that sony is expensive

  • This is great news. The early adopters will test the camera one moth earlier than expected.

  • I doubt you have much to worry about pre-ordering this camera. It’s an X-Pro1 in a smaller body, with a smaller LCD, and no OVF. We already know the X-Pro1 has held it’s own. Safe to say its little brother will be made of the same stuff.

  • I got a similar notification: “Delivery Estimate: Tuesday October 2, 2012 – Monday October 22, 2012″

I am in the US, and pre-ordered mine (silver kit) on September 6th.

  • If this early delivery actually materialises, I’ll eat my hat – and it’s a particularly indigestible one.
