8 months ago |I got an email from Amazon US this morning that my X-E1 order (silver body only) has shipped. The email was titled: ‘Your Amazon.com order of “Fujifilm X-E1 16.3MP Comp…” has shipped!’. This order was not through a third party reseller, but from Amazon itself, having been on preorder since Sep 6th.

8 months ago |The X-E1 is actually for my wife, I already have the X-Pro1 with 18mm and 35mm lenses, so we’ll shuffle between those for now. Looking forward to the Fuji 23mm one though.

8 months ago |I’ve had my ex 1 with 18-55 on order from amazon sept 9th… still no new updates.. it looks like the 18-55 is going to lag behind the body only model… has the 18-55 been released yet in the US or elsewhere? I’m seeing more reviews so I assume it’s either out or almost out. amazon’s giving nov 13th-dec13th estimate.. i’m thinking it’s going to be december if i’m lucky.

8 months ago |Ordered mine (18-55 kit) on the 8th, and it too has not shipped. My friends who ordered from BH said they were told their kits would ship next week, I think its probably a similar story for those who purchased from Amazon.

8 months ago |Body arrived in one day even though it was through the free shipping option. Had to cancel my order for the 35mm as it was backordered, and ordered through B&H instead.
