Delay with X lens shipment in USA stores!
Usually camera shipments are delayed because of a high request. But in that case it seems that Fuji completely underestimated the high 35mm X lens pre order request! Those of you who preordered the camera and lens at Amzon US will probably have received the following message:
For the camera body alone: “Your estimated delivery date is: Tuesday, April 3, 2012”
For the Fujifilm Lens X-Pro1 35mm F1.4 Lens: “Estimated arrival date: May 01, 2012 – May 02, 2012” 
As you may know asian and european stores are already shipping the new X camera and lenses. USA stores only are a bit “late” with the shipments.

2 years ago |I just got an order update for the camera I ordered on Feb 6th. Same deal as what you posted, but I figured i’d confirm the situation.
“Fujifilm Lens X-Pro1 35mm F1.4 Lens”
Estimated arrival date: May 01, 2012 – May 07, 2012
“Fujifilm X-Pro 1 16MP Digital Camera with APS-C X-Trans CMOS Sensor (Body Only)”
Estimated arrival date: April 05, 2012

2 years ago |I got that email from Amazon, but today I got one saying it will, in fact, ship tomorrow!
And I placed my order 3 days ago only!
Can’t wait to have it in my hands!
