No, the EVF on the X-E1 is the same as the new Sony NEX-6
This is a BETTER EVF than on the more expensive NEX-7

This new EVF from Sony is also rumored to be on the a99 full frame to be announced Sept 12th

I think it will be $999.99 for just the body unfortunately. I just can’t see them including the 18-55mm f2.8-4.0 lens as a kit for that price.

i love the NEX7 EVF, do’nt know how a down-graded NEX6 EVF would look like on both of these camera.

Fuji X-E1 is already posted on the official Korean fuji website. It only has limited information though.
