Fujifilm X-T4 KAZA and GARIZ Leather Half Cases

Fujifilm X-T4 Leather Cases

The KAZA leather half case for Fujifilm X-T4 has now been released. To access the side door you have to take off the whole case, but you still can access the battery door with the case attached. The Kaza leather should soon be available at the Kaza AmazonUS storefront and at eBay.

Also the GARIZ leather half case for Fujifilm X-T4 has been released and is now available at eBay here. It uses a metal plate on the bottom and it looks like you can still access the side doors.

You can find GARIZ leather cases for Fujifilm cameras at AmazonUS here.

Leaving Phase One for Fujifilm GFX100, Hasselblad X1D II vs Fujifilm GFX50R Budget Medium Format Comparison & More

I was once on my Dolomites, when I met a professional landscape photographer, who had a rented Phase One (I posted it on my Instagram here).

We had a brief talk before my hike continued, and I just told him that he should enjoy his Phase One, as this might be one of his last trips with it. A few months from now Fujifilm might drop something that will finally allow him to actually own a 100 megapixel camera.

Now, I don’t know how the story ended. Did he get the Fujifilm GFX100? Well, I wouldn’t be surprised if he did.

For sure, some did, as you can see from the video down below, where a photographer left Phase One for Fujifilm GFX100. And for good reasons: much lighter, much more compact, much cheaper, much faster, much more versatile, still that medium format look and more.

And if the GFX100 is still a bit too high in price, for about 1/3 of the price, you get 1/2 of the megapixel with the Fujifilm GFX50R.

Fujifilm is slowly but surely building up an impressive and absolutely future proof system. A system, that, I am sure, will gain lots of followers in the years to come.

WELCOME and Meet the New Official Fujifilm Creators

Back in July, Fujifilm announced significant changes in their Fujifilm X Photographers program, including an explanation on the 3 step on how you can become an official Fujifilm X photographer.

If you want to know all the details, check out this article.

Now the first Fujifilm Creators have been selected, and Fujifilm welcomes them in a dedicated page here.

I thought that maybe also the FujiRumors community would like to give them a warm welcome and check out their work at the fujifilm-x page here.

Congratz guys, and keep the Fujifilm flag flying high out there :)

What’s the point of these posts?

Well, surely not to tell you “look, this famous guy shoots Fuji, so you should too“. For that purpose, it might be more convincing to know, that photographers using Fujifilm X cameras creamed off all (!!!), top awards at the recent World Press Photo Awards.

I guess the point of these posts, is just to share little curiosities, because I have fun collecting these things, and if it’s fun for me, it helps me to run FujiRumors with even more joy. So, in case you are not interested, just skip these handful of posts a year, and wait for the 60+ rumors I share a year or the rest of the 1,000+ free articles a year.

With all that said, here is another Celebrities and Curiosities roundup.
